Fuck Nina trial 19. Even with Vesper’s tutorial I can’t seem to time st.mp to Flash Kicks. I’m forced to quick combo it instead. ARGH! >:(

Definitely take a break if you’re getting discouraged a lot. Don’t let the losses or bs get to you too much. Just rage for a few minutes, “call it derp” and move on. It’s what I do and it has worked for me thus far.
It doesn’t make any sense. If the trials are there to test the player’s execution skills, then why are there quick combos to easily complete them? o_O
What’s the logic behind that?

Sigh. I’m watching the KOF and P4 streams, trying to see some high level play. Cant I just watch a stream without lame sfxt jokes popping up? I expect it from Marvel people, but from the KOF and P4A guys? Really? You would think with all the shit those games get(“mexico jokes, anime fighter, P4 is dead”) that they would be above “lolz gem fighter” jokes.

The KOF and P4A guys…are talking shit about SFxT?
I just…what? I don’t know much about KOF, but holy shit the P4A people have just…less than no right to say anything, maybe ever. Oh my goodness, I don’t even know where to start with that game.
I still can’t figure out a gameplan for Abel in this game. His five frame jabs, step kick being -1, poor Anti-Airs and no wakeup really suck sometimes. Thank god his Alpha Counter is good. He definetely is a meter whore, but he is so fun to play. Even though people like RagingRay, Chaoslimits, and Tatsu own me for free…I enjoy the challenge…lol. I know Gief is hated big time, but he is pretty much doing the work for me at the moment. Abel can get shitted on and I bring in Gief and can at least do something…lol. Playing Abel though is really making me learn patience though. I can’t just rush in with him for the most part. I’m learning to block more and tech throws. I also lame it out big time if I have the life lead…lol. It’s definetely a learning experience. I enjoy playing people better than me so I can get better. I’m up to 13,200 BP now! Hopefully I get up to A soon. That’s my goal.

Naw I just indiscriminately hate every game I’ve never played. It’s kind of what you do here in the FGC. Be as ignorant as possible, at all times. You’re gonna go far, kid.

Why in the hell do I lose more points when I lose to someone of the same level when its local coop? THAT’S BULLSHIT!
The same reason as to why some people don’t like each other. The ability to be different.
Hell, we are a community of supposedly: mature, adults. Ok so we swear and we have salty fits once in a while but that is what the FGC is all about and it’s one of the reasons as to why it has intrigued me over the last couple years or so in comparison to other communities, where stuff is deliberately toned down for wider audiences and it’s pretty bland and boring to watch.
If anything, whenever I see members of the FGC deliberately putting down one another over different games they play I ask myself the question:

Something I hope they change in the future considering that if you were to beat them, they wouldn’t lose as much as you would have if you had lost.
It’s kind of dis-heartening in my opinion especially because people who play local seriously to get better at the game will never learn the meaning of: ‘a hard loss’ at least points wise because they won’t lose any.
Thus they’ll become complacent leading to some of the big-headed people that you can sometimes see in the community from time to time.
Unless they go into Endless and then get blown the hell up with their 20000+ BP looking as if it should be mirrored numbers wise.
And im not seeing the “OMG CRAPCOM FANBOYS” that people are always ranting and raving about, other fighting games probably get way more coverage than any capcom fighter on this website. the only time I see anything about this capcom game is when its about some top player speaking their mind about it in relationship to the 25th anniversary tourney or when its being compared to other fighters.
