I got the power over ethernet setup and it was pretty cheap on amazon. I usually never have lag even wen the other person’s connection is ass
I just had a DSP moment right about now. I had those “I can’t do anything” moments when I was getting hit by stupid crap by a hwoarang user from this forum. I just walked away and got myself some soda while he was finished. Such a fucking stupid character. I am not QQing about Hwoarang since I will find tech to beat him. GGs to that guy. But I won’t give any sort of respect to that stupid ass korean pretty boy.
INB4, “you use broken Ryu and Raven, scrub. Hold dat shit”. I expect that type of comment. bring it
Endless Lobby Room Descriptions they need to add.
“The Salty Sea”
“Go ahead and talk shit, my mic isn’t even plugged in”
“For overconfident B ranks who will leave when beaten before the lobby comes back up”
“Training with New characters…though it’ll be no surprise when pick your mains for a revenge win when beat”
“Will Kick Less than 3 bars. If this comes as a surprise, you’re an idiot”
“Practice Area…no really, we are practicing, so save the ‘Your character sucks’ shit for Ranked Mode”
“Not wearing any panties”
“My skill level declines as the herb/alcohol level rises”
“You do realize that you can do other stuff in this game aside from reversals, right?”
“Offensive practice…you know, where you move forward and stuff?”
“Defensive practice…yes, I do want to see how many times you can backdash after 1 poke”
“50 bucks says you can’t do a combo that doesn’t start with LMHH”
“I gave you a chance, your connection still sucks. Blow”
There’s mine.
Knock someone down and he does wake up t.mp with Cody (and of course, I take my hands of the stick in disgust). Why on would someone do that? And why do I get hit by this shit?
Edit: GGs to Songi; even with the lag, those matches were more enjoyable/rewarding than a day of ranked matches.
Yup, those matches were pretty fun. Damn your kazuya has stupid meterless damage. Everytime I got touched in the corner I would end up lose 75% life. Man being a girl has no ups in this game…just downs.
I still hate facing off against Nina as Xiaoyu. The match-up feels really stupid to me, why? I have to jump around like an raving lunatic just to get in and do anything. I’m not used to jumping at all, so it’s a huge adjustment I have to make for that match-up. I guess I gotta have Tatsu teach me how to cross-up with J.HK and then I’ll be in business. Ninja has Xiaoyu beat on footsies and we’re both at a disadvantage when it comes to anti-airs, it’s basically impossible to anti-air a good Nina as Xiaoyu…not happening unless you got godlike reflexes.
Good fights but damn I’m jealous that your team only needs meter for alpha counters and switch cancels. You got it made in the shade, enjoy that luxury.
Actually, I also need meter for reversals and the odd ex blonde bomb throw a fireball but yeah…
And holy shit, I knew Xiao does crazy damage but Lili is pretty nuts too (although it costs 2 meters - i think). Lili lands an ex move and my life bar disappears
Solo Lili needs 2 meters to do reliable huge damage. My team consists of meter whores who both fight to use meter so meter management isn’t easy. I rarely have meter for alpha counters since more than likely Lili has used it up already on Ex Sunflower Lance or Ex Feisty Rabbit for wake-up pressure. My team needs to end matches quickly that’s their downfall.
Found mine
Me too lol:
First one is effing perfect.
Learn that sLP>cHP link.
It up’s Lili’s damage considerably without needing to burn a bar of meter (much less two).
I’ll have to give that a shot, thanks for the tip. I honestly don’t really throw around heavy attacks very much with Lili outside of combos. I guess playing Xiaoyu has made me extremely fearful of my heavy attacks being blocked. I guess I need to take a look at frame data for Lili for a change because I honestly have no clue what is safe and unsafe anymore lol.
So important for opening up big damage on crouchers.
I’ll have this incorporated into my game within the next day or two. I really need to get stuff like this down so I can finally get some consistently in my gameplay. I’m tired of all this random bullshit causing me to lose. Man, I feel like as I get better, I only get worse. I know that sounds stupid as fuck but it’s so true.
Fuck PSN. Seriously, fuck those good players that go on fucking troll accounts to steal points just to fuck with everyone. Also fuck the fact that if I lose against two players on the same console I lose 72 pts?
This is why I prefer XBL. That feature is non existent on XBL and ppl can’t make as many troll accounts as PSN.
I just wanted to get that off my chest. I’m so fucking mad that I lost 167 pts in two fights. That’s some Bullshit
I really need to make a list of all the local players online and post them up in a thread so everyone can avoid them. No reason to give these bastards a match if they want to boost. I just find it so stupid how the most amount of points a local player can lose is like 16. There’s literally no risk for playing a ranked match if you play locally. Xbox users need to consider themselves lucky they don’t have this broken feature in their game.
dont sweat the points. just play and focus on winning. Also… who are these aforementioned “good people” on PSN. Songi, Tatsu and Chaos are the only 3 decent people i’ve seen on psn so far.
also… fuck Kaz. That stupid character is broken. So I’ma pick up Hei and Kaz and just tier whore everyone on PSN and XBL till people bitch hard enough capcom nerfs them… or everyone else gets a buff
We should play. Granted as Songi or anyone else I have played on here can tell you that I am not so great. =/
That would be cool. Although a lot of these “local partners” are basically a dude on two controllers. No wonder Zet-Familia (number 1 guy on PSN) has like 43K. He plays locally a lot. He is a good player but that explains his huge amount of BP. The idea of local play isn’t a broken mechanic Songi. It’s how stupidly Capcom handled the local play point rewards system. They should be awarded the same as an individual player.
