Say’s the guy with a Blanka avatar. You do know how much your character is hated, right?
Then boy do I have cool news for you: it isn’t dead
I have now discovered that most B+ rankers and above have obtained their points by either:
a) Avoiding players who beat them
b) Trying to partner up with said players so they’d get some free wins
c) Both of the above
Oh and I am also meeting people who obviously KNOW they lag as hell and are abusing it to all hell.
*PC version
Yeah, I’ve never understood that either. At higher levels the game is pretty damn fun to watch. It may not be the flashiest game but certainly not boring.
Add…‘Taunt at those who are lower in points than them’ should they do a) and b) to that list.
It’d still be nice. Plus any promotion would be cool. As of now, I’m just an online nobody who goes to local tournies in FL
< Champion of the online nobodies club.
At least you don’t suck lol.
Aren’t you on dat dere PSFREE? Go buy an EXbawx so we can play. There’s only like one other Nina player that I ever see on Live.
Can one rant about themselves? I need to motivate myself to learn a new character but I’m just to comfortable sticking with what I know works so good on so many people…
why don’t you just add him? I asked him how does he decide on which replays to upload and his reply was “whatever I think is worth uploading” Or you can be like me and have a friend who owns a pvr to upload matches for you lol.
I ranted on myself before, don’t see why not. :razzy:
Sometimes a little self-ranting is good motivation! Just don’t take it too far or doubt too much.
As an aside, I normally joke about how bad I am (not to say I’m actually godlike or something, I have*** a lot*** to learn and improve), but I’m learning to cut back on that joking a lil’ bit. People think I actually expect to lose every match… Nooooooooooooooot really. Trust me, I go into every match attempting to win, or at least be competitive.
My only rant…I HAVEN’T PLAYED THIS GAME IN LIKE TWO WEEKS, FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK COLLEGE. >:[
Oh ouch, it seems I am very easily crossed up and tripped to death.
Anyone want to go a bit with me so I can learn to deal with this?
To be fair, engaging someone with a red connection is a 50/50 gamble. It’s either you’ll manage through the lag or not. PC player here too.
I’m forced to play with red connections as I’m getting desperate for a ranked match, so I’ll have to take the risk.
Fighting a good Ryu player would help you a lot. Sounds like the makings of a Ryu player right there.
Songi will play Ryu with me right?
I dunno how to even play a SF character lol. Honestly I’m not as well versed in Capcom fighters as I might seem. I just know general stuff to get me by. You should fight EMR he’s got a very solid Ryu and Raven and he’s got the fundamentals from SF4 to boot. I never touched SF4 so I got nothin. I also rarely ever do cross-ups, I’m basically an imported Tekken player in this game. /sigh I really need to buy TTT2 already, but I’m way too addicted to this game to even bother at the moment.
I want to tell anyone who plays fighting games online using wireless, I sincerely hate you.
Man, why couldn’t Anna have been in xTekken? Her and doing the unique Anna/Nina combos in tag 2 are the only reason I haven’t been playing xTekken. Well that and I absolutely love doing Nina’s throw chains. Spent hours in training mode memorizing all the button presses for her. Then I look at xT Nina and she just feels so empty. Heck the one throw chain they did give her isn’t even hers in tag, its an Anna move. (I haven’t played any other tekken since the original tag so pardon me if Nina has had it before hand and I just didn’t realize it. I know they share a lot of moves) I feel like the second I put in another fighting game I am going to lose everything i’ve learned over this past week with tag.
Too many fighting games coming out in too quick a time. I can’t balance them all.
