Competitive aspects dont garner as much sales as casual aspects. So his negative response to Ono is understandable coming from the side of the FGC he stands on(competitive). Btw, Capcom Fighting Jam anyone?
Critiques sure but calling for him to step down when he is doing his job make’s you sound like the exact kind of self entitled nut that should rightfully be ignored.
You do have a point, Drunk hustler :I
Why would Ono retire over a game he didn’t make?
Because Ono is the cancer killing the FGC, look at how small its become since SF4 came out!
LMFAO wow this dude is TROLLING SOOO HARD…Yo UNSHAPEDORKRANDOMNUMBER and everyone else please do not respond to pete 278. You have been warned
i like to change the conversation to something else actually…something has been bugging me for a while. and thats the community. it seems that someone has got to find something they dont like about it…and its gotten to the point that its childish…really the hit sparks? the glow from gems? really? shit that dont effect the gameplay directly is the problem? gems themselves do yeah ok…but what hasnt been said about gems at this point we dont know. or pandora at this point.
i have concerns too…everyone does about this game. but come the fuck on…really…the small shit is going to stop you from playing it? thats just some Bull…S***…if you ask me…
They alter your visual cues that you must get accustomed to to play the game. Shaky HUD at damage, obnoxious hit sparks, slow down (Did someone press the pause button or something?) and tidal wave at a launcher just really gets in your way of recognizing character model / hit boxes. And since they did take the effort to listen to some of it (coloring of the HP bars) then I guess I can see why they want to keep going with these things.
Before all else, PC mods might just get rid of those things altogether.
i can see it but at the same time…i can’t see it being a problem…initially people were against UMVC3 hud but got over it. more or less its the same thing.
Well it wouldn’t be bad If they just added a ‘tone it down a bit’ option.
And I’m pretty sure If UMvC3 had the option to revert back to vanilla MvC3 HUD, people would flock to it.
true~ as there wasnt anything wrong with the hud.
Look, you may not like SF4, but you can’t deny the positive effects its had.
Weird rant: the roster is too big. I can hardly keep up with the matchups in SFIV, how am I suposed to know setups/counter setups, shenanigans and general strategies against 58 characters?
That’s a legitimate complaint. I can understand the concern trying to learn how to fight against all these characters, most specifically, the Tekken roster. They barely play like their Tekken counterparts, so it’ll be like fighting brand new characters.
It’s gonna be hell trying to balance them all. There will be crying and demands for buffs/nerfs all across the board. I’m hoping the gems will prevent all that noise.
sadly, what mite happen is people will ask to tone down certain gems, as a certain combination maybe too strong with 1 or 2 characters in particular…I honestly see that happening anyways as Tekken characters strings count as normals…so go figure. I’ll be pretty hard to nail it on the first try.
but i dont think the roster will end up being that big…im thinking around the 36-42 characters…and even thats pushing it.
Oh. Not sure where I got the notion of 50 characters from. Speculation makes my head hurt.
I forgot the possibility of patching gems. Man, this game is gonna have a ton of band-aids on it by the end of the year.
indeed it will, but its all good it we are still playing it at the end of the year~ because at the end of the day…i still play final fight double impact online…with a friend, because its just that damn good.
Because this entire game is his and Harada’s lovechild?
Maybe because he had nothing to do with MVC3 dumbass.
Ah. Well, I learned something today, I guess.
