I ate a thousand crappy jump ins tonight. It was happening so much I went offline and practiced anti-airing different characters with different arcs and timings and having my GF do random air attacks and jumps so I wouldn’t get predictable with the timing and I had no problem swatting characters out of the air.
Freaking online.
Getting Jack’s HK charge blocked and then trying to switch in Hugo in an attempt to save him is the worst habit I have right now. I should mail people a birthday cake for doing something so stupid. Stupid panic!

Well damn. I’ve been getting hit while holding downback and I just checked the inputs and I’ve been doing shoryuken motions backwards at inhuman speeds. I thought that shit was resolved.

I wish these new games would teach players better fundamentals. I played a 15k BP guy the other night, his only method of attack was jumping. As Rolento I AA’ed him every single time. I would literally just wait and AA. Then I missed one AA because of the odd angle of his jump, which resulted in a 20-hit combo. SFxT is worlds better than SF4 with regards to having less bullshit, but it still has a few things to iron out.
Yeah. Fucking online. :C Especially when you hit confirm and it gets you hit cause of rollback.

I’ve hit a wall with this game and I’m very frustrated. Because of my career and location, I pretty much only have access to PSN matches for at least the next year so I can’t really level up my game offline and online is giving me bad habits and punishing me even when I get it right. Even though I feel like I’m winning quite a bit more than I’m losing for the first time in my fighting game life, losing to derpy jumps and shoryuken go nuts when I know I’m playing the match correctly is really starting to get me down.

I lost to a Jack-X twice last night that did nothing but spam Anti-Air attack and Surprise Attack, I was pretty close to sending hate mail but instead just calmly picked up my other controller and tossed it across my entertainment room. Long story short…I HATE Jack-X!! >:(

There’s some sort of issue with PS3 controllers where they start executing random inputs for you if you drop them on the floor too much. No joke. I’ve had that happen to two controllers.
I had to go buy new PS3 pads cause it would start using l2 and r2 without pressing them. If there was contact with that general area of the controller. NOT THE TRIGGERS. Like the plastic around the triggers where you just hold it they’d start going rapid fire. Didn’t know about this and tried playing mgs4. Brushed the plastic behind the trigger and it just started spazzing. Got me murdered. :C

If I can get in on him it’s fine. As soon as he gets to that right space, it is a BITCH to get in. And you pay soooooooo much for trying.
That said, it’s an interesting character type. A giant that wants to keep you away. Mentally I’m still thinking he’s like every other giant that has godlike HP and I need to stay away. But Jack is like a super-beefy Dhalsim. >_____>
Dhalsim x Jack-X faced this team once a couple weeks back. Made me want to Taz-plex my TV.
Yesterday was my first real run in with Jack-X…damn I wish I had more prep time before that match. I can honestly say if I ever see that guy again I will not accept his matches even if he was the last player on earth. I hope the guy playing Jack-X gets kidney stones no joke!
