My sympathies if you are trying to grind tekken online on PSN.
With that netcode on their servers you could not pay me to try and do that.

Sf side = Elena, Dudley, Blanka, Sakura, Juri, Bison, Balrog, Vega, Akuma
Tekken side = Jin, Xiaoyu, Pal, Law, Orge, Christie, Jack 6
I’ll Play you, I live in Boston and I have 16mbs of internet speed. I play a friend in florida he has better internet than me and there is little to no lag. If you have good internet it shouldn’t be a problem if you are as far as florida.

You know what I fucking hate about SFxT? The fact that characters still have the same shitty jumps and shitty backdashes. At least they had to alter that shit before but now they’ve gone a step above not giving a fuck. We’re gonna add chaining to SF4, make some Tekken characters, add tagging and call it a game. Oh yeah, then were gonna add gimmicks because god forbid people look at the game and realize that we just remade SF4 with chaining and some bullshit juggling.

Ono went to his boss and said “Hey, I wanna make a new Darkstalkers.” His boss said: “Did you see what you did with SF4?” After admitting to himself that he did something bad, he had a new idea. Ono retorted: “Can I make a crossover game with Tekken?” To which his boss replied: “Why would anybody want to pl…sure whatever.”
That was his master plan you see. Ono would not be allowed to touch Darkstalkers because that’s the japanese Marvel. Instead what he would is make a shitty version of DS using SF characters, add some tekken to it so his bosses wouldn’t suspect anything was amiss because you know how Tekken is all about nonsensical chains (sarcasm) and bam. He can pat himself on the back for a shitty game.

while i don’t share your distaste for the game,I share your concern for the game. I do would want you to realize that SFxTK was announced at SDCC 2010’ as “the Future of IV” that alone should be one hell of a hint. I do agree that it would seem lazy on the development teams standpoint that most of the returning SFIV characters would most likely keep a majority of their normals/special/framedata/ect. but that should be a given. there is a huge debate going on about whether or not Chain Combos made SFxTK a better game, but for one reason or another they are not universally accessible as they were before in previous builds. other things like Cross Assaults, and Cross Arts imo make the game better as these are things that i’ve personally would have asked for(Cross Assaults). CrossArts in my honest opinion is a mixed bag as its cool to have Tag team special moves…however it kinda kills it when its Generic like it is…so there is no real uniqueness and no surprises when you make a certain team, and i think that is something that should have been implemented in this game…as you get no real benefit for using “official Teams”.
but part of me wish they had more uniqueness in making tag teams(anywhere from having different moves to different CrossArts, even special pre-fight intro). I feel that even though most of that is “fluff” I think that its what this game really needs to keep it from feeling Generic.
