Dude, SRK isn’t much better. You should look at the Hakan thread I made. Instantly bashed to shit and people seem to have problems understanding my statements and opinions. Its just as bad, you cannot (And I’m dead fucking serious here) have a conversation about balance on the Hakan section.
I use Zangief as a main anyways, so I have him down. I can usually perfect Ogre, or finish with 90%+ hp on Zangief, and full bar for anyone else. It’s the damn health gem on Akuma, mixed with his spam happy Misogi that kills me, and if its not that, its Raging Demon. I don’t know… I wish I could run two Giefs. lol
Just spam lariat and jump back and forth on misogi, you’ll get a full J.HP into whatever punish. I went with Ryu and Gief, used Ryu as a punching bag to just deal as much damage as possible until I went in with Gief and slapped some shit.
The return of Blanka was not enjoyed by this fellow D:
Played online again, it was enjoyable but TEN TIMEOUTS!!! in the space of 5 games. Honestly i wish Mahvel seconds came with this patch. I can just see all of the DLC characters I refuse to buy begging to buy them now that they are visable on the character select screen it’s such a tease!!
For me there’s only two gripes that I have with this game.
The Rollback
It’s pretty annoying when you have clearly hit your opponent only for the game to take it back and show them blocking.
That and the teleporting (I could write a book on this one.)
It’s a spacing/footsie game and there is a rollback netcode. People just teleport here and there. It’s alright when they are at full-screen but when they jump and constantly cross you up it starts to become annoying or when their jump in attacks come out at the last minute and you don’t know which way to block them.
Kickers in Endless Lobbies
It’s just annoying when someone just kicks you for the hell of it, after they lose or you lose or just to kick you so that they can fight again. A good example is this guy I ran into recently called dantemundus on PSN. He beat me one game after taunting a lot with Kazuya and Akuma and then he kicked me.
So I decided to rejoin as much times as I could to his lobby because at the end of the day, Endless Battle is supposed to be a fun mode not a mode where everything is all serious and there is a ‘one game at a time’ thing like Ranked.
People play Endless Battle just to avoid the stress of the ‘one game at a time’ thing like Ranked so I just don’t know why people just want to kick each other all the time whether they lose or not as I said before Endless is just meant to be fun.
Oh and just for reference I joined dantemundus’ lobby 5-6 times as well and he kicked me every single time. I even sent him a c’mon man message. Stating afterwards ‘why won’t you fight me again?’ and got i no response so far. It’s a shame that people nowadays just can’t have fun anymore
Fucking lag and teleport almost cost me my last match. I can’t afford to lose when there are so few opportunities to have an online match. :annoy:
Luckily I was able to bag that one with wake-up super arts and peek-a-boo cross arts although the risks doing that is too high). I’ll have to refuse matches from players with zero bars from now on as I don’t want this to happen again. :annoy:
This is the match. Being a replay, the lag and teleport will not be seen here:

“A” rank and no one wants to play in endless… The biggest problem is that I’m not that good… I’m trying to learn Lei and damn it… if I enter a “Learning new chars.” room I get kicked after I have watched the 328473928742 matches before me. If there is ANYONE who wants to play and is east coast let me know ASAP… I just want to get better and learn.
I’m east coast. I like playing higher ranked players most of the time. I don’t mind loosing if I’m outplayed and learn something. Feel free to add me if you want
Damn cross-ups. I’m always caught with those tactics.
Any advice on how to defend yourself against cross-ups as well as predict if one is coming at you? I’ve been searching at YouTube and almost every video tutors how to do a cross-up and not how to defend against them. Any help would be appreciated.
Imagine each player has a centre line, which way round these centre lines are in relation to each other when the move connects determines which way to block. A well spaced crossup will put the lines right close to each other so it’s ambiguous and hard to tell (for both parties!) It’s just experience really. You get used to making a note of where they jumped from to determine if it will crossup or not.
Even trickier still is when the attacker changes their trajectory in mid air. You can jump from the same spot and depending on which move you do at the peak of your jump will determine which side you hit (i.e jump kick hits front, tatsu will crossup) You’re pretty much guessing which side it’ll hit then, you can’t see which move is being executed in time.
