carzydog: please explain your problem directly to LLX (zhongxianglong@hotmail.com). it may have to do with the wiring so please take some pictures of the inside and send them along with your inquiry. thanks
…wow I was just about to buy this stick from playasia till I heard this! Not sure I want to now. I need my sticks to last. That sounds like a pain in the ass to deal with and im sorry.
To all the other Q4 owners! Does this problem happen often? I was really considering buying one but I dont want problems after a couple months of using it.
gamerq1086:
i think that your worries are not really necessary and i really don’t see any reason not to buy such a stick.
if you are serious about not buying a product (whatever it might be) because one customer experiences an issue (in this case, a disconnecting button -which in itself can have a variety of reasons), then you surely won’t ever buy any product on this planet, right? :).
in addition to the fact that every product imaginable can experience some kind of issue, QanBa offers a very descent customer service, so that really should not be a problem.
ps: concerning the specific problem: there have only been a handful of people experiencing this kind of issue out of thousands of sticks that have been sold. as far as i know, everyone encountering this problem has been helped properly.
where are you?

I just want the stick to last as long as a Madcats TE stick would. Ive owned many TE’s and Never had any problems and they have only broke from me bashing on them lolol.
Ill put it this way. I really want the Q4 and Im even willing to take a chance and buy it. The fact that I will be able to play on ps3 and 360 is amazing and its a deal I can’t pass. Does the product have a warranty if I dont open the stick and temper with it. I don’t plan on modding this stick at all.
From playasia i will be paying ALOT of money for the shipping and I just want to make sure will it be worth it.
I removed the plexi cover to my Minsk! art 3-in-1 ice blue Q4raf and underneath the Minsk! Super Street Fighter 4 3D art WTH lucky me.
Ive decided to buy from this website.
I got mine in the mail today from focusattack
Are there any plans on bringing over the Qanba 6-button plexi cover and metal panel conversion kit to the states.
Will there be any vendors selling Qanba at Seasons Beatings?

getting my Q4 tommorow yay!!!
so if I’m waiting on a replacement part that’s been sent to one of the dedicated resellers, should I be contacting that reseller?
I’m in Canada so I assume I need to email these guys: http://canadianjoysticks.com/
This is a modding issue/question, so I’m not sure if it falls within the realm of the official thread, but here goes anyway.
I got my Q4RAF last week. It’s an awesome stick, and I enjoyed using it. I also got some spare plexiglass and today was ready to start replacing the artwork. Here’s where I ran into my problems.
After opening the back and starting to disconnect the buttons, I came across the problem that almost half of the buttons’ quick disconnects were not disconnecting quickly, or at all for that matter. I can pull them out about 1mm, but they get stuck there. I thought maybe a little extra force would do the trick (derp), and I ended up yanking out the wire from one of the quick disconnects. I’ve got a bag of .187" ones coming in the mail now so I can fix this up and be back on my way with regards to that button, but the issue remains that 4 of the buttons have one QD that will not come off at all. I’d rather not have to yank the wires out and put QDs back on them every time I want to open the thing up or swap the art.
Is this a problem other people have run into? Have they found any ways around it?
Just got mine today and trying it out now and its wonderful. I dont regret buying so far! Great stick!!!
You need the .110 QD’s for Sanwa/Seimitsu buttons.
You can use .187 quick disconnects. They’re snug enough that they won’t just fall off.
