Somebody asked the Gremlin staff that very same question on their Facebook page and here is their reply:
'Yes, we will be getting those new colours in We hoped to get a pre-order page up for both of those by now, but with everything that is happening at the moment, we just haven’t had the time. We are looking to have the pages up by the end of next week after the bank holiday & once the move to new premises is almost complete.
Hi i got my qanba q4raf a week ago and i use it on pc and xbox360 but all of a suddent when i use it on xbox 360 when i use the jab button it also do the 3 kick … like 1 bouton do 2 action and it does it with the small kick too … why is it doing that on xbox 360 but on pc it works fine ?
Hey guys so thanks to a member on the forums i have a Q3 in my hands and will be doing some measurements for making metal replacements panels so you can have access to other layouts and use different joysticks and whatnot. I do have a question tho. Is the plexi used for the panel 1/8" thick? I believe it is but it would be nice to know for sure. As i would just have to source some 1/8" plexi.
Thanks
except the start button doesn’t work well… sometime need to press few time… anyone know what happen with the start button? i did open up the bottom and disconnect and connect the buttons and also connector as well. it seems still same problem
suspect is the button problem… i need to change the start’s button to new sanwa button. anyone know Malaysia where can buy the below sanwa parts?
Japanese Sanwa Buttons (OBSF-30)
Japanese Sanwa Start Button (OBSF-24)
Japanese Sanwa Joystick (JLF-TP-8YT-SK)
Japanese Sanwa GT Y Octagonal Restrictor Gate
What are the full dimensions for the plexi? Length Width Height… I’d like to get a customer glass cut with only 6 holes at the front (for the buttons) so I don’t need to use the plastic button covers allowing for more space with custom art and to also avoid scratches as the current plexi seems to scratch fairly easy.
Got my QanBA Q4RAF in today. I grew up in the golden age of fighters in Las Vegas. Every casino had an Arcade and I went to them all. To have this at home is great. I am now picking thhese fighters back up and enjoying them. After my first QanBa wa stolen in the mail, I was frustrated but Video Games New York is a solid business and take care of my problem for me. Just glad to finally have this stick at a great price.
Still haven’t figure out what’s wrong with the B button? mine problem is “Start” button sometimes respond sometimes doesn’t. It’s PCB issue? why not try change another button and test it. I’m looking for the Sanwa (OBSF-24) for replacement on my Start Button. Hopefully it’s works.
Hi Xianglong, please help on my Q4 stick What’s wrong with the Start button? I just bought it last week. I notice that the start button doesn’t work well, sometimes respond sometimes doesn’t. I did disconnect and reconnect the button and also PCB connector as well, it seems still same problem
My bad for the late reply. Finally used it for a few hours tonight. Yes, 0.5-inches. No, it’s not noticeable at all especially if you play for a long duration. The feel is different compared to my favorite stick, the Hori VLX. As in, everytime I press a button, there’s a reassuring quality thud/thump (in a good way) with the Q3 due to the wooden case while on the VLX, there’s a tin yet solid feel to it (again, in a good way) just like in the real Vewlix arcade machine. Hard to explain unless you use both back-to-back. I think I’m going to replace the buttons with something that matches the case & ball-top better.
This is my first Qanba product & the Q3 EMP was extremely hard to find (had to import it)! I like the wood case, substantial weight, velvet underside lining, the way the red LED player indicator is lit up on the top panel, ease of getting to the internals (6 screws on the bottom), bonus stuff (2 button plugs & cleaning cloth) & the build quality except the slight imperfection with the artwork that others have had issues with on the Q3 EMP. The artwork wasn’t laid flat so by the time it was fitted with the cut-outs for the buttons, some areas of the artwork are a bit stretched & aren’t flat on the metal panel but no biggie since you can barely tell unless you look at it upclose. On the other hand, if Qanba wants to send me another artwork then I’m not complaining!
I have a Qanba Q3 stick with is a very good and solid quality stick, but i have a question about the inside boards…
I want to use LT (left trigger) and RT (right trigger) buttons from the xbox 360 qanba board but i’m not able to wire these two buttons properly, they doesn’t respond.
What i did:
I solder 2 cables (one to the “LT” point and the other to the “RT” point) to the board and then i use one of the available grounds (GND point) to solder another cable, then when i join the two connection to one button and press it, the button doesn’t work :S (i checked using the standard windows gamecontroller utility)
