Greetings Llx & everyone

I got my Qanba Q4 in the post today (21.07.11) from gremlin Solutions, & its awesome im selling my MvC3 TE as i dont need it anymore not with this awesome stick. The quality of the Q4 is amazing it feels so well built, much better than a TE (in my opinion)

Does any one else’s Q4 plexi stick up around the stick? I can press it down by about 3mm and if I lift the dust washer I can see the gap.

This issue can be seen with the default plexi already mounted on the stick. The stick comes with a patterned opaque plexi pre-attached.

It looks like it may be caused by the mounting screws for the JFL plate being too long and pressing on the plexi.

so i bought the 3.5mm to 2.5 mm adapter with the original xbox headset and it still doesnt work. I love the stick, but why make a stick with a headset jack and it doesn’t work. Its not the biggest problem, but it is frustrating.

edit: I rewired the stick and it works perfectly with the 3.5mm to 2.5mm adapter and original xbox live headset.

It says here, you can use nail polish remover without acetone to remove the printed design.

Will it also work for the Q4?

to change the plexi, you can just pull off the screw covers gently and then simply unscrew the plexi and put your clear plexi with the artwork in place

Undo 8 screws on the bottom of the stick and 6 screws on the top of the stick under the 6 black circular stickers.

Unscrew the JFL ball top and the 24mm start button and remove the plexi.

The screw in 24mm start button and JLF ball top means you cannot just undo the top and replace the plexi.

Just pop them out.

Very carefully and gently, with something that doesn’t have sharp enough edges to scratch your stock plexi, unless you don’t care about scratching it.

it’s easily done. the glue is not very strong.

My problem now is that the glue kind of gets stuck inside the screws after I take the stickers off.

interesting, that never happened to me. well, i would try to pull it out with the screwdriver or sth like that. should be no problem ;).
