Where can I find those Qanba button caps? I can’t find anything on the official site. Would love to have a white pair for my Chun Stick.
Is this one wireless? I really wanted the wireless Q3 for PS3 (I could care less about tournament play) but it<s not available anywhere. So if this is wireless, it could make a good alternative.
Thanks
I’ve only seen one Q3 that was for sale in the Trading Outlet but it wasn’t the EMP version.
All Q4’s are wireless. That pic you showed was the 2in1 version (PS3 & PC only).
q4 sticks are wired
Hey jmanDMC, thanks for the feedback and much obliged!
I will wait patiently :B
I stand corrected! Yet another reason to buy one!!!
i can only support that decision. i love that stick even though i’m a very mediocre casual player
Hey thanks Nexawr. I’m sure once more have a look at this, we’ll improve upon it if necessary.
My supplier is looking to get a ton of the colored hole plugs and plexis once he inspects samples from Qanba, so it’s likely that focusattack.com will have those items sometime after the first shipment of Q4s arrive. Schedule for arrival and distribution is still set for 5/21, pending any unforeseen issues with cargo.
I will be ordering one of the Q4RAFs soon and I am also thinking of a bag suitable for carrying this. Does anyone have recommendations on a bag that can fit this or what you use to carry it?
This should fit however, it’s kinda pricey at ~$50 shipped. I think you can only buy it from them directly:
Or you can just go into any sporting goods store & checkout their smaller duffle bags. Those cost around $20 - $30 for a well padded & cushioned carrying bag.
I still haven’t come across a review of some sort for the Q4.Word of mouth seems to be pretty positive.
Most of us don’t own a Q4 yet. You will have to wait till the end of this month for some detailed review. I suspect Q4 3in1 will be as same quality as the Q3 which is a very good stick. Look up for Q3 reviews. I am sure you are bound to find some.
Any news on the second batches and when they will be available in europe? I understand there have been some delays but its all a bit stupid creating the hype when its impossible to buy one no?
I bought mine from Canadian Joysticks LTD for $129.99 during their presale promo, it’s $149.99 now. For the price you can’t go wrong. I had a Mad Catz SE, this is a major step up for me. It feels like a high quality product, it’s solid and heavy. The only thing that kind of bothers me is the Start button placement, I rather have it on the side instead. It would of been nice of the outter casing was wood too, but that’s not really a big deal. Also if you had a PS3 that is BC, the joystick works on PS2 and PS1 I still have.
I probably won’t write a review, but if anybody has any questions about the Q4, just post and ask.
This is not about hype, this is more about a small business being completely overrun, i’m doing this side to my main job and it’s hard to keep it smooth, anyway, i answered both your mail and your PM
Wow, great to hear it has BC as well (3rd strike babby!).Mine should be arriving in a couple of days so maybe i’ll write up a short summary of how the stick is.My previous stick coincidentally is also a Madcatz SE so this as you mentioned should be better Cheers for the info.
BTW, have you considered changing the artwork? If so, how to go about doing it?
Dear Mister Xianlong
i have a question about warranty on Q4RAF,
I am selling Q4RAF in France and the product is popular among players.
last week a customer told me his new Qanba doesn’t work, i sent him a PCB from another Q4RAF and now it’s working perfectly.
I would like to know if it is possible to get PCB for repairing Qanba, Supplier told me i have to send back the defective PCB to get new one, but it would be better for customer if i had the PCB in stock, because sending to HK and waiting for the new PCB will take approximatively a month. i could send back defective PCB after without problems.
thank you very much for your time.
Just sold some stuff, Im hoping to pick one of these up. Any word on how accurate that template that was posted is?
I grew up with Happ arcade machines, I never modded my SE, I never experienced Sanwa parts before, so the Q4 was a major upgrade for me. I have been somewhat lazy about changing the artwork due to laziness and playing too much SSF4 on my spare time. I used to play 2D fighters casually 2-4 times a month with a gamepad, now that I have a heavy duty joystick box with Sanwa parts, I play 3-4 times a week. When I bought the SE, I played it for 2 days and just didn’t like the overall feel and went back to the gamepads. When I found out about the Q4 pre-order special, I decided to spend more money on a higher quality product, and I have no regrets.
There is a tutorial on youtube for the Q3 for changing artwork.

It shouldn?t be much different for the Q4 since the screws on top have similar positions. I don?t know what the Q4 black panel is made up of, but I have an extra clear panel. Canadian Joysticks sells it for $14.99.
