Are there any Qanba Q4 Vs. TE or HRAP videos up anywhere? Or does anyone know, from a theoretical lag standpoint, where the Q4 sits?
well, in germany there is not one single retailer, so I suppose you just have to wait a little while ;).

Do I have to file anything down when replacing the buttons with seimitsu screw-ins?
Not sure if this’ll help, but Sanwa’s screw-ins fit perfectly fine, with the nuts fitting snugly with the others.
Dude these are so cheap in Hong Kong. 900-950 HKD. About 115 USD.

I read earlier in this thread that you need to file something down for Sanwa snap-ins to fit. So no need to do that with screw-ins?

If you mean the main buttons those are fine without filing. They’re already Sanwa anyway. The problem is with the 24mm stock start button. If you want to switch that out you’ll need to make the hole bigger. Dunno if 24mm screw-ins would fit.
A buddy wants me to diagnose his Q3. So after testing it out, the buttons would cease to work, but after shaking or mashing a little bit the buttons respond again. The joystick is fine and so are the buttons; it’s just that it eventually dies every other minute. So before I open it and tinkering with it, I have a question. Is this a common problem? If it is, is it the pcb, buttons, or a combination.
Also if I need to know anything specific to mod it, it would be helpful.
Took the plunge and pre-ordered a Q4. I’ll write a review when I receive it.

He basically went through the build and talked about the details about the stick. But I think all the infos can be found on this thread already. It’s a good confirmation about the quality of the build though.
