Lmao. Reading is fundamental! Sorry. Wow. Must be in zombie mode more than I thought.
Can anyone tell me if this will work with the Q4: http://www.focusattack.com/akishop-ps360-hsb-external-headset-jack-pcb/
Thanks.
Pictures of my Q3’s.

I’ve yet to figure out what artwork I’m planning for the 4-button one, I’m thinking Gradius themed since it’s a shmup stick (seimitsu equipped)

The Blanka stick aka Beastman Trickster

I just got my quanba q4 stick from the mail and i was looking at the manual but i cant read what is says. I was wondering how to a sync my stick to the PC. because in the manual it shows them opening a window on the computer.
I have SF4 on PC with the Qanba Q4. I just plugged in the stick and everything worked (I didn’t need to configure it).
Just flip the switch on your Qanba onto PS3/PC and it should work without a hitch.
Hi guys,
i got a qanba q3 wireless for ps3/pc awhile back. i was told that it can switch between wireless and wired. how do i switch modes??
i tried plugging in the arcade stick with only the usb cableand nothing seems to happen
also. my dongle doesnt seem to sync with my dongle
I need a custom plexi made for my q2 pro. Anybody know who I can contact for this? Thanks in advance
Hey, I have the Standard Q2, I was wondering if I got the clear plexi with the Viewlix button layout, if my buttons would go in just fine, or do I need to find a plexiglass with the Standard button layout to match?
Figured this belonged here.
^ I can appreciate the features, but Jesus Christ… that thing is ugly.
Hella

Hey guys, I’ve been considering buying the Qanba Q4 Black (do the colors even matter?) and am wondering on what others have to say about it. People say that there are dropped inputs and I kinda skimmed some posts and people say that’s not true. Can anyone give some insight on that? I’m also interested in the dual mod part since I want to play Xrd once it comes out and play in tournaments w/ Xrd but my current stick (Soul Cal V 360) isn’t dual modded and it costs around $100 to dual mod it from my local modder anyways. So I’m wondering if the dual mod on the stick is good or not. I also want a new stick since i don’t like how the buttons curve more compared to other sticks. I suck with these things so I cant mod it myself.
Basically I’m wondering is this stick an ok upgrade to the Soul Cal V Stick.
It is difficult to figure out, as this is all user/player reports with little documented proof of said events.
I based my reports from those who hold a bit more credibility in the scene. Although no empirical evidence is given I try to base the accuracy of a report based on the credibility of the person doing said reports.
From what I could deconstruct, it was/is diff rent revisions of the qanba PCBs that have more or less reliability issues, after the initial few batches, Qanba changed to a completely different PCB style.
Older Qanba PCBs are actually 2 PCBs sandwiched together in what looks like a factory Dual-mod, while later PCBs are a single board (similar to a PS360 PCB).
I have not identify which revision is the trouble maker PCB. Besides the testing I really need to do to determine the best PCB is far out of my means to do so.
I found the Q4RAF fantastic. I don’t believe any of this dropped inputs nonsense. I haven’t found any solid evidence to confirm so, and I just naturally assume that most people have shitty execution and just want to blame the hardware.
The feel of the Q4RAF is top notch. The case just feels so much sturdier and less hollow than its Madcatz competitors, not to mention the bnous of having a felt bottom to really grip your jeans and reduce slippage while in your lap.
The dual mod function works extremely well, and it’s worked on every ps3, xbox, and PC I’ve used it on. That being said, my PCB burned out after 2 years of use. PCB quality does seem to vary from model to model, as I have friends who own the same stick and haven’t had problems for 3+ years. They seem to be getting better and better as time goes on, especially with the Eightarc models (Eightarcs are made by Qanba), so an Eightarc would be another viable option you can look into.
@opt2not Do you have the psd templates for the artwork on the Q3?
Alright thanks for the info guys! I’ll probably read a bit more on the stick but it seems like it’ll be a good investment
@eltrouble It’s been a while since I slept so I’m probably just being an idiot, but when you’re talking about Eightarc you just mean the quality of the stick is better buying it from Eightarcs site or something else?
FWIW my local scene has roughly ten or so Qanbas from earliest to most recent models (both Q4 models, Q2s, Q2 Glow LED, Q1) and none of us have ever experienced dropped inputs, double/accidental inputs, USB failures, or any of the other rumoured problems with Qanba PCBs. I wouldn’t place much stock in what’s said about them having less reliable PCBs.
I’ve had quite a few people ask me for the template for the Q4 six-button conversion kit - the links seem to have vanished from the places you can buy it from - so I’ll leave it in my dropbox and post the link here, in case anyone finds it useful:
I’m looking to remap my qanba q2 glow where can I find info to do this
