What is the difference between Standard and professional? Why is it significantly cheaper than the q4raf on the eightarc website?

I’m guessing it’s cheaper because it only has PS3 support vs PS3/360/PC like the Q4?
Hello guys I don’t know if I’m in the wrong thread but I need help please.
So while my QANBA Q4 RAV stick was connected to the Playstation 3, I accidentally tripped on it. After I did, I was using it and it worked fine, but all of a sudden the buttons stopped responding to their proper inputs. For example, the circle button acted as the x button, and all the buttons were mixed together.
At first I thought the problem was with the setting in the game, but I’ve confirmed that it is not.
So I checked the cable and found that at the start of the cable (where it comes out) the connector to the plastic plate is a bit crooked, and I don’t know if I’m going to be able to fix it since I have absolutely zero experience working with these types of electronics/sticks.
I will post pictures as soon as I can upload them, if there is no way I can fix it by myself I’m willing to ship it for repair, if that even is possible.

okay seriously now, i think my qanba is just dying on me. aside from the issues noted above, new ones arises. the X button doesn’t normally respond anymore. i have to repeatedly press it just so a command would come out. I may have other buttons like this, i maybe just havent noticed yet. also my LT button is now mashing on its own! have to make sure the button is unassigned. but this is really getting ridiculous. my stick is about 11 months old now. but for sure i didnt use it all 11 months even. im thinking of opening it up already, but im not even sure what to look out for aside from maybe obvious disconnected wires or something
You could also just open up the button and throw some tissue paper around the plunger (the part that is sticking up from the actual microswitch lever itself. Messy and annoying, but you won’t EVER press it by accident after you finish 
You can even rest your finger on it fully and it won’t register a thing. EXTREMELY ghetto, but I used that old trick on some devices years ago, when I didn’t have the proper hardware to do it correctly I highly recommend trying it. The hardest part of this is getting the “Quick” disconnects off.

I am a lefty with all three pc/xbox360/ps3 and I noticed that a lot of people
have been asking this same question but Qanba continues to remain quiet about it.
As soon as I get a answer on this will be as soon as me and alot of other customers will
make their purchase. By the way I bought the Q4 3 in 1 and love it, but would love it even
more to play in my natural stance with the left handed setup. Qanba please respond this time.

I bought the Q4RAF earlier today, and I’m now looking to buy a plexiglass to put my own art on the stick.
Does anyone know where I, as a nab living in Finland, could buy one of these things? Shops like focusattack are sold out on the item, and arcade shop uk has ridiculous shipping prices, I’m not interested in spending 30-40€ for a piece of glass.

Okay well thanks, I guess I gotta email them again and ask for the shipping fees for a plexi and some buttons. Now for the hardest part, choosing art for the stick. 
How and where did you create this for you stick. Im thinking of buying a Qanba Q4RAF, I want a cutsom faceplate.
Also, does anyone know the how bag the lag is for the QARAF?

You can also find some on other sites,(sans customization) but you could probably even just remove the graphic from the underside of the stock plexi with rubbing alcohol. Be careful though, you could scratch it up badly.

Visit the artwork thread in tech talk for help if you aren’t PS savvy, I only know the basics but I was able to make one. You can get one laser cut from art($8), or get it printed for cheaper on cardstock at a kinko’s, although you will have to cut out the buttons and stuff yourself.
On lag, I think there is a stigma against Qanbas because the first-gen Q4s had some faulty PCBs that would crap out, but I never think input lag was an issue.
I think I remember seeing a video where the lag was tested and the difference seemed to be too minute to affect actual play with humans, but I for one haven’t felt a difference between my Q4 and Madcatz.
I was going to upgrade the artwork in my q4 then it struck me it’s an ice blue…why bother screwing up perfection.

The cable compartment door has broken off my Qanba but it appears that the hinges off the arcade stick itself have broken off; even if I receive a replacement it doesn’t look like it could possibly go back on. Any idea what to do?
