The Official Qanba Fightstick Thread (New products Coming)

you can use two of the original JFL springs and put them together, that’s what i did. works fine.

How does that actually feel? In order to get more tension on my sticks, I’ve taken the spring out and stretched the hell out of it and put it back in which has always given me that stiffer feel.

eric:well, it feels quite a bit stiffer.

garrygod: very nice. you can post that on qanba’s FB page at www.facebook.com/QanBa if you like :).

Please and thank you

I bought a Q4 black new a couple of months ago. The only issue with it is that the door for cord storage is pretty weak, its already popped off a couple of times on me. Functionally, this is a great stick, but it could definitely do with a redesign on the cord holder door.

Oh yeah, and the carrying handle is GDLK.

When I load my Q4 up with windows 7, right hand side does not respond at all to button presses. Does anyone know what may be causing this, or why? Stick appears to be working for everything else other than this function, and also works fine on PS3 and xbox.

What function do you have the Qanba turned to when you plug in your stick (Xbox 360 mode or PS3/PC mode)? I suggest try starting your computer without the stick plugged in, once it’s fully booted, try plugging it in with the switch in Xbox 360 mode first. Under devices it should read as Xbox 360 controller for Windows and it should function properly. If it doesn’t, try unplugging it, moving the switch over to the PS3/PC mode and plug it back in. Under devices is should read as QanBa JoyStick Plus.

If it still doesn’t function properly, then you’ll need further help that I’m afraid I can’t offer as I don’t know what to do beyond that.

Just tried what you suggest my friend, and got the exact same problem. It’s really weird. It’s reading literally everything except directly to the right on my stick for both Xbox and PC settings.

It’s reading top right and bottom right as up and down respectively as well.

Hmmm, I’m at a loss. Is it the actual joystick that isn’t reading the right directional input or is it the buttons themselves (all of them?) that don’t respond?

Tested it with my PS3. Everything on the stick itself is working fine. Every button responds in windows, and 3 of 4 directions respond. It is just literally not responding to the movement to the right.

Ahh, okay, at first I thought you were talking about the stick not registering when you plugged it into the computer. In the device manager under Devices and Settings, you should be able to right click your stick (Xbox controller or QanBa depending on how you have it plugged in), a menu will pop up and choose “game controller settings”. Once that window opens, click properties and test the joystick. You should see this “Point of View Hat” circle that will show an arrow in the direction you are pressing. Let me know if it shows the right directional input.

Can someone send me the rewiring graph for microphone for the 1st generation Q4. I just got an Xbox recently and get compliantly about echoes. Thank you

So this is…really odd. It’s coming as reading a right input once in every about 5 or so goes, and not getting a read if I hold it at all.

You tried both modes and still little to no input?
