Did your Qanba handle have any discoloring like mine?
, post: 6409207, member: 61839"]Where exactly did you purchase your plexi from? Because if you order from Arcade Shock or Focus Attack, the plexi covers there fit flush with the stick. Sure, it’s an eight button panel, but throwing button covers over the 3x Punch/Kick buttons is an easy fix for that.
I got mine from play-asia, but that’s beside the point. Qanba should ensure good quality product regardless of where people buy. Also the button covers are not a solution at all for me. What is the point of taking the time to get a nice-color stick and make custom art for it if you’re going to throw ugly button covers on it anyway?
Anyway I am hopeful that I can work something out with Qanba to make this right. I’ve already gotten an initial response from them. I’ll keep you guys posted on how it goes.

And if you have the 6 buttons version the 8 buttons plexi dont serve anyway, they have different dimensions!
As I posted before the only Q4RAF’s advertised “with handle” at the time I purchased were the black ones so getting a “white” handle for mine was quite a bonus.
It’s definitely an off white color, but it still looks good to me.
Quick question about how the Qanba sticks functions. I see no ls/dp/rs setting on the stick (or is there a software setting I’m unaware of), so is it safe to assume that the stick directions register as the dpad, or does it register as both LS and DP for both systems?
Also, which of your Q4RAFs do NOT come with handles? Alternatively is removing the handle on the stick going to leave any cosmetic blemishes/holes?
Is it possible for the rubberized plastic used for the handle to be colored bright white? I figured they’d always end up off white.

Theres a button called mode.
I think it switches between DPad and LS.
I was thinking that mode could do that. Most everything I’ve read stated that the reviewer didn’t know what mode did so I’m interested to know now

All the Qanbas from eightarc come WITH handles. If you do not want a handle, I’d suggest arcadeshock.com . From their choices, the ones WITH handles are: the black q4 and limited red. The choices WITHOUT handles are: ice blues and red and white.

If the button still assembled to the quick disconnects(signal and ground) so just snap in it again! If not you´ve got to open it to assemble the signal and ground again!
Edit: BTW I´ve got my blue 6 buttons version here package, received at 10 min ago!
When I open it I’ll do a review of this version, saying by the now it does not come with handles and headset are negative points, the lack of buttons L1/LB L2/LT is another downside, these buttons should have been placed elsewhere!

Lx8000 I guess you dint understood the bodegabuttons problem, I understood he said the buttons A and B only works on turbo mode, on normal mode it doesnt work!
BTW I received my Blue Qanba 3in1 yesterday, great arcade stick, I´m pleasure with that, and this version came with headphone jack! Very nice stick, has some issues but overall this feels great, one of the issues it´s this version does not bring the handle, so I have to grab the stick by the sides and it is in danger of breaking the compartment door, as soon as this version does not bring the handle should have the cable compartment behind and not at side, I think many people gonna break the wire door because of this! I ask if it´s possible to get one blue handle to get the stick complete, like I said it feels great but fells like something is missing!
we can send you one ice blue handle.
I will tell your suggestions to our engineers.

I’m having the EXACT(although it’s only the “X” button) same problem.
What “llx8000 ” posted about, what I’m asuming is general info on the sticks turbo functions doesn’t really solve the issue.
Got this stick just yesterday after I’v waited almost a full week for it to arrive. Now this happens … sigh.
IF anyone out there has any tips or a possible solution to this problem It’d be extremly appreciated !

How strange, but my guess is because that particular stick (like the Blue Crystal one I purchased and received in the mail a few days ago) don’t have handles on them originally, so discoloration would be expected when you request one for yours. Speaking of which, I wonder if there’s a matching blue handle for the limited edition stick I bought. D:

To anyone that replaced the art on their Q4raf can you tell me the exact dimensions you used on your psd file. mine is off a little more than i want. Thanks.

Hi all,
i have a problem with my qanba q4raf stick, my stick started losing inputs, it wouldn’t register all down and left inputs, i opened the case and saw that the wire (harness i think it’s called) that connects the sanwa jlf stick to the pcb has 2 of the five cables kind of loose( it was the green and the yellow ones) i tried putting pressure on these wires with a zip tie and it helps but it still loses inputs once in a while and obviously that is not a permanent solution.
Where can i find a replacement, do electronic stores sell these?or perhaps how can i make one or repair it? (if that is feasible). I saw that there are sanwa jlf-h harnesses that can be purchased, are they the same? I ask this because i tried using my madcatz te (ps3 verion) stick’s harness and the inputs afterwards were incorrect no matter the orientation of the wire. There isn’t a store in my country that sells sanwa stuff so i would like to avoid ordering a harness anyway ( i would end up paying half the price of the stick for the shipping costs).
The problem was probably caused by me, the stick is otherwise great, i have no complains.

yes,MODE Button is D-Pad to LS.We use software to control like PS2 or PC Joypad.
