The Official Qanba Fightstick Thread (New products Coming)

I think it’s actually not identical. I think the position of the stick and buttons is different, which is why the conversion kit comes with plexi and metal plate (and not just plexi).

Q4 RAF 3in1 headphone work for XBOX360 and PC(xbox360 model).it doesn’t work for PS3 now.

I was recently contacted regarding the internals of the 6 button Qanba stick, if there were wires and quick disconnects inside for adding LT & LB, Just thought i’d put the pictures here too if anyone is curious about the Q4RAF Ice Blue 6 Button Stick with MINSK artwork (Or the 6 button layout Qanba internals at all) Hope those who represent Qanba on this thread dont mind;

It’s a wonderful stick, Qanba do a great job

Edit:

can the posted 8 button layout be used to make artwork for the 6 button sticks? or is the distance between the buttons and the stick… or the placement of the buttons different in any way?

For anyone interested, the 6-button layout is almost identical.

To turn an 8 button design into a 6-button design, move the button and stick holes 18mm to the RIGHT.

Hi,

I posted in this thread a while back about my brother’s Qanba q4 and the buttons not working on certain systems. The roundhouse button (I believe its O) does not work on Xbox, but when I put it on PS3, it works, but Foward doesnt work after that.

Im tired of trying to find which wires do and what, so I was wondering if anyone here is from San Diego and could troubleshoot this? Or if I could send this into Qanba to get this fixed.

I bought this off of focusattack.com

Thanks!

Is there a premade template for this? Tried to do it on Photoshop but I don’t think it was accurate, would be cool if someone had a 6 button template for the Q4RAF.

I have had that happen to me. Its like you stick disconnected right? Problem I believe with mine is the wire. I sent a email to qanba and they sent me replacement parts, still havent gotten them. Try Giving them a email.

The PCB looks different than the one that I have. I bought mine back in may. Im sure they changed it quite a bit

I’ve had my qanba q4raf for about a month now and for certain the L1/L2 buttons are NOT sanwa. This is my first stick, so I didn’t know for sure at first but everything about them is different. They sound different and are harder to press than the other four buttons.I’ve got the red and white version with the carrying handle. Does anyone else have this? It was advertised to be full sanwa except for the start button.

Open it up and have a look at the buttons. They should all be the same Sanwa OBSF-30, but differences in feel could be explained by a different batch or being installed into a hole that is slightly too tight for them.

bad batch I guess :frowning:
I tried playing with an SNK layout (straight four buttons) and it was terrible because of the fourth button. It feels like it’s a generic qanba button like the start.

Then please, open it up to make sure. Post up a pic of what you find.

exactly. all buttons should be sanwa, so if there is anything wrong with those buttons, you surely will receive a free replacement.

whelp, I’m an idiot. Just opened up and all the buttons have the SANWA imprint on them.

it could be that some of the buttons feel differently because of their positioning etc. as long as their precision and other characteristics are OK, you should not worry about it.

Got my handle in the mail yesterday and immediately put it on my stick…thanks a lot Qanba for being so quick coming from China and really being a customer orientated company.

Is there a way to stop the factory ball stick top from spinning? Preferably without industrial-strength glue? I suppose I could get used to it, but it’s annoying.

Also, when I release from holding, for example, diagonal down-forward input and then let go, the stick often inputs df, d, or df, f rather than df, neutral. It’s letting off of one gate first, and then the other. No matter what I do, I can’t consistently input any diagonal then neutral. How do I prevent this?
