Amazon in Canada is absolute garbage so EB Games/Gamestop has been getting more of my business lately. The people at my local EB Games are actually pretty decent and they’ve been good about pre-orders etc. I hate the used games policy at these places but alternatives are few…
Back in the good old days I could use Amazon.co.jp…sigh…1 day shipping for everything and huge selection…I miss you…
Finally, another vid and info on APB: http://www.gametrailers.com/video/pax-east-apb/63688 I actually forgot about this game’s existence for awhile. I remember seeing a video about the customization in this game, and it looked like the deepest customization mode I’ve ever seen…it definitely surpasses anything released in this console generation so far. I’m glad this game didn’t “fade into bolivian” as Tyson might say.
I bought SFIV at gamestop, because Amazon didn’t send my collector’s edition out until the next week. When the amazon order came, I gave my other copy to a friend.
I’m don’t think I’m bothering with gamestop, this time around. The pre-order bonus from them doesn’t excite me, and i think I can wait if Amazon doesn’t ship immediately. I’m hoping they ship right away though.
I used the $10 credit for pre-ordering motogp and applied that to SSFIV.
Amazon, still hasn’t matched Gamestop’s COD4 & COD WAW $20 price. I’m not a huge FPS fan, but for $20 each, I doubt it won’t be worth it.
If my idiot cousin uploaded a gamesave to a different account on my ps3 and disregarded the penalties like locked trophies and etc, does that mean under my account I can’t earn the trophies for the same game? Im gonna be really pissed if thats true I got almost 40 hours on FF13
Shit, I thought you misread or something. I was never going to use that feature, but it sucks for the people that put Linux on their PS3s and run MAME or whatever.
It always sucks to lose functionality, but  at the blog comments. All these folks coming out of the woodwork to rant about a feature that was a mere novelty at best.
apparently around chi-town ps3s are gone everywhere but the suburbs… fucking weird youd imagine people would be 2 broke to get em in the city and spoiled ass rich kids would be getting them for half birthday gifts in the burbz.
anyone else around any major cities notice that.
ohh btw this was according to a gamestop employee, he might have wanted me to drive 40 minutes to make sure i bought something for my trouble.
gotta do it to prevent hackers. cutting out the market for hacked games is the only way for sony to cover up the only security hole known on the ps3.
not that it would’ve even led to potentially pirated games, but all it would take is for the root key to be leaked, and it would’ve caused a major rift in between sony and the companies who are heavily invested in the ps3 security systems. might as well take out the other os, isolate the potential issues as it pertains to piracy, and keep good relations with blu-ray and game developers.
trust me, as much as this sucks for the few linux users, its better for ps3 owners overall.
