The Official PS3 thread

Funny I was expecting the same, but no they didn’t added AA to the full version, infact I downloaded the Demo of Yakuza 4 from the japanese PSN and although there is a small bump on graphics there’s still no AA which is puzzling since is not a graphically intesne / 60 fps game that would make AA implementation difficult. Now that we are on the AA topic I seriously hope Capcom figures a way to add it to SSF4 just like vanilla SF4 had it on the 360.

i am loving yakuza 3 at the moment, only into chapter 4
man those broads were lining up at smile burger for some of the dojima dragon

Yeah, I love the killzone series, it keeps it simple yet awesome in the single player. I can only hope that there are no kill streaks and kill streak rewards. That seems to turn games into camp fests that last forever because everyone is scared shitless of getting shot at. One reason that I love battlefield and enjoyed socom before it.

Here is another look at the amazing customization going on in Modnation Racers: http://www.gametrailers.com/video/exclusive-art-modnation-racers/63472
Delicious. This will be the perfect kart racer for me. I can’t get enough of that kind of stuff…there should be a 1000 more games of various genres out there where you can create the characters, levels, tracks, whatever.

…and a hack/slash “stylish” action game! If someone makes one of those with a deep character creation mode, along with a large variety of fight styles and weapons to pick from, (+ a “Bloody Palace” and/or regular “Survival” mode…and 2-player co-op in there.), then that would immediately go on my list of Greatest Games of All Time. Someone out there, please get to work on that.

Can’t wait for modnation. It will be my little big planet. I hope that it gets the same dlc support. I also hope that it it will support custom soundtracks. It is about time that more developers put that into their games.

Cool vid, makes me even more hype for MNR. Haha, Sony jacked that one guy’s figures.

Naw, I understood what your getting at. It has that “fun” factor dreamcast games had, I feel this generation of games don’t have it anymore.

90s SEGA and Namco music were just… on another level. Maybe it is nostalgia but listening to the tracks made you feel good. Things just flowed well and really added to the game. To me, Yakuza 3 (and Y2) brought me back to that 90s style. I really don’t know why. It’s hard to explain.

you can try to camp in KillZone 2 but its pointless, its not like camping in MW2 were they have camping spots everywhere on the map

yo falling edge, wu in your sig? never mind i remembered again, meth. meth & red?

Nah - it ain’t just you.

Revenge of Shinobi still has some of the best damned tracks ever conceived.

it aint just namco, capcom, snk, sega and all them motherfuckers even konami and square all had their good shit back in the 90’s. 90’s was on some other shit.

my girlfriend won’t let me play anything else

Just started playing through Yakuza 3, and…a golf mini-game? A…competent golf mini-game? Oh Sega.

Just a reminder, because I saw a lot of post about them earlier, dual shock controllers are going for 35 dollars at Kmart.

I just wanna get this off my back. Man does that show “The Tester” look fucking terrible. Gametrailers plays the add for it almost every time I click one of their videos and all I see is a bunch of morons playing paintball, getting hit in the face with cream pies and getting kicked in the balls all for the chance to be a fucking game tester, arguably one of the worst jobs on earth. Jesus Christ.

It is terrible, I watched the first two episodes and couldn’t take it anymore. Doc’s funny, but apparently he’s really a douche. He pretended to be everyone’s friend during the show and backstabbed a lot of people according to one of the people that got axed.

Isn’t there like at least…2 “Doc’s” in every reality competition show?

And not surprisingly…starslay3r is in this. :wasted:

i’m trying to watch the larping episode right now.

as a ex-sony tester, this show pains me in so many ways.

So MNR isn’t a PSN game? I can actually go and preorder it in a store?
