I would use that, but I always watch stuff on my computer and then play video games at the same time. I am almost done with Mad Men now. Gonna get an ultimate weapon soon.

I started Yakuza 3 tonight. I had been putting it off since I bought it and wanted to keep it for a Let’s Play on my YouTube channel but I caved in a few hours ago and I’m liking it a lot so far. I don’t know, it just feels so sega-ish if that makes sense. It’s feels like I’m playing a Dreamcast game for some reason. On the negative the graphics could do with some polishing. I don’t have the best TV but I was hoping from the demo to the full release there would have been a little bit of improvement. I’m guessing they’re exactly the same in the Japanese version.
Nearly got a hole in one on a par 4 in the golf mini-game. Happy Gilmore eat your heart out.
The fact it feels Sega-ish is why I like it but I can see people hating it for that reason. I finished 13 out of the 16 mini-games. The requirements to finish a mini-game is located in the start menu. Most of them are pretty hard. The graphics to me look great but I hope your playing this game in HD cause it would probably look bad in SD. This game did come out in Japan over a year ago so if they look outdated to you that could be a reason. Right now I’ve finished 71 side quests, I’m on chapter 6. All I have to say is that these side quests are vastly improved compared to Yakuza 1 & 2. On the total completion list I have completed 400 out of the 619 things, the modding weapons list is what I need to work on.
Did they add anti-aliasing in the full game? Cause the demo didn’t have any.
Am I the only one who just recently downloaded and there had my mind blown by the Darksiders demo? I’ll agree I’m late but Jesus H. Christ this shit is amazing.
Nope, no AA. Speaking of Yakuza, I have to get back on that. Took a break from it & been playing MAG. If they add new maps (and if other players buy them) I might pick it up for keeps one day. Just scrubbing it up w/ LMGs and anti-personnel mines. That guitar-riff you get during a killstreak only seems to be audible when I’m dead though, lol.
Yeah, I hope you didn’t take my comment on it feeling sega-like as a negative (reading back it does sound like I came across that way). It’s really one of the things that is making me like the game so much. I can see why some people would pass on it also, but as my first of the Yakuza series I can say I’m enjoying it a lot so far.
I’m trying to cover all the bases here for you if you already have a ps3 and intend on importing all of your saved data, downloaded items, etc. It’s important to do this if you have downloaded any kind of media from psn because if you paid for and dl’d a movie you can only dl it that one time. Unless you wanna spend some time on the phone with customer support trying to authorize another download. Anyways, you wanna first partition whatever memory you plan on using if it already has data on it you don’t want to lose. You’ll have to do this because next you’re going to have to format that new partition/drive. Once you have it backed up you can remove the old hdd from the ps3. Then you’ll insert the new one and format it from the ps3 menu. After that you can restore from the backed up file. Enjoy.

hey sarangha,(yakuza3) is there a reason why i dont get hearts on certain dates, and do get hearts on other dates?
The game was just okay. It felt like somebody really needed to oversee the project and cut out some of the shit that didn’t work as well as some of the other shit. The game felt like it had an identity problem. Still worth playing, but I’d wait for a price drop to at least 30.
Yeah. Darksiders was pretty bad imo. The main issue I had with it is that they tried to put too much stuff in it when it came to controls and game mechanics. I ended up fumbling over my thumbs a lot or forgetting what button combination did what. It was a real hassle and unpleasant. Plus the difficulty was basically nonexistent until you got to bosses and then it jumped 10 fold. It was really agitating.
Retro game dot heroes, looks like they got their idea from playing too much dragon quest 1, which isnt a bad thing as long as its fun
