My Brother has played GOW3 all the way to the end boss and now the game won’t load. Other disc based games load fine, just not God Of War 3. He has a 60 gig PS3 Fat, anyone else heard of this proble?. Does the Blu Ray drive start crapping out at more intensive games till it doesn’t work at all?
All the delays just get me more hype. When they announced NASCAR and WRC for GT5 at E3 last year I came so damn hard.

Hey guys Im playing heavy rain nd im loving it, not just because its a great game, but also because im learning portuguese and the game has portuguese dialog and subtitles. So my question is does anyone know of any other games with this option? Or maybe there is a list somewhere, but I doubt it, i did a search and nothing comes up.
Generally EU games come in multiple languages, as they in europe and all, usually just the subtitles though

anyway i got my ps3 because it has wi-fi, freedom to upgrade any hard drive. and free online play. those are factors for me.
i also have an arcade 360 with a ton of games but i haven’t touched it for months since i have to finish up uncharted 2, FF13 and gow 3.
damn gt5 is like the only sim style racer im looking forward 2. ive played all the gt games and still theres no other series that can compare to the feeling of driving. though when it comes to arcade racers, will sega ever release the am2(?) games like daytona 1 and 2 and scud races. those games where fucking dope.
I’ve had my PS3 for nearly a year, and until just recently, the only thing I played on it was WipeOut HD (which is awesome, btw).
Now that I got a nice tv tho, I picked up some games and am really starting to enjoy my PS3.
Playing through Uncharted 2 right now, and I am truly impressed. What a kick-ass game. The attention to detail is staggering. You can tell a lot of love went in to making this game. Very nice.
Next up will be God of War 3, followed by Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2.
Also traded in my 360 version of Tekken 6 in favor of the PS3 one. I couldn’t deal with the 360 controller for Tekken any longer. I’m too used to playing it on a PS pad.
Yea I’m playing through Uncharted 2 right now and the game is just staggering. So much fun to play, the attention to detail is incredible, the action pieces are just mind blowingly good. I spend so much time going “Holy Shit! O.O” and every little complaint I had for UC1 is completely gone. UC1 was great but this is just…wow.
Yep, Uncharted 2 was pretty much sex on a Blu-Ray disc…and it wasn’t a porno, so go figure…
By the way, just finished Yakuza 3, kick ass game and I really liked the story…now on to FFXIII.
So my PS3 revived itself, for now anyway… trying to not get hopes up, but geeked on the inside
I’m thinking of trading in my Uncharted 2 so I can play something else like FF13/RoF/Yakuza 3. I haven’t touched it for a long time as I’ve beaten singleplayer on hardest and I have COD for multiplayer shooter. It’s a great game no doubt, but rather than keeping it to collect dust I might as well exchange it for another worthy game. Now I gotta do research and see which store gives the most trade-in value.
I just got back into my ps3 this past week after a long hiatus. I picked up this sucker here which is a nice upgrade from a crt. It doesn’t have a lot of bells and whistles as far as audio is concerned, but it makes up for it with the picture. I’ve been playing through GoW3 and I gotta say I’m impressed. Though, I’m gonna need something else once I get through it. I think I’m just gonna flip a coin to pick between FFXIII and Heavy Rain.
Also, CptMunta, have you tried playing the disc in another ps3? That’s probably gonna be your only way to tell. If it is the disc, just take it back to the store. I think the general rule with software is that if you return an opened item within so many days you can exchange it for the same item if defective.
I think only GT5 is left this year for good exclusives. Maybe 3d dot heroes, but I don’t have too much interest in that. So until then I guess I’m just going to collect all the must have exclusives. And the semi-exclusives (like Sigma 2).
I think now the ps3 finally caught up in terms of game library, and maybe even surpassed the 360’s exclusives. The exclusives on ps3 seem to have more variety. Whereas on 360 it seems like it’s mostly shooting/fps and western rpg’s. Also developers (well American developers) are starting to make games equal on both systems, sometimes even better than the 360 counterparts.
But I do have a modded 360 for multi platform games:razzy:
Damn, after reading up more on it and watching trailers I really want Resonance of Fate but have to save for an upcoming trip. If only I didn’t trade in WKC earlier…
And is anyone else looking forward to Mod Nation Racers? I heard it’s going to have 4 player splitscreen which sounds sweet to me.

they’re trying to unload the old aa before the new aa comes out, since that on has 3-d and other shit, making old copies obsolete.
i’ll just wait for the aa goty to finally play this game.
