Yeah I don’t think I’m messing with DCU Online because of the monthly fees. There’s going to be a 26 issue biweekly comic based on the game so I might just check that out instead.
As usual with reading manga, watching anime or in this case reading a comic based on a game instead of playing it I’m usually fine with whatever they change so long as it leaves me more free time to play other games. This goes quadruple for Japanese RPGs.
I hope it’s not true what Wiki is saying, about the X-Men Arcade game changing the voices. If it’s just for Wolverine it’s cool since he was Australian in the game LOL but not for anyone else. Especially the villains. I mean c’mon “NOTHING MOVES THE BLOB!” That’s classic.
So I just bought DJ Hero 2 with turntable at Gamestop for $50. I tried the game out at my friends a few days ago and i liked it alot more than I expected, it’s freakin awesome. Anyone else play?
They are telling you straight up just like M.A.G, S.O.C.O.M, & Warhawk, that it is online only. If you can’t play online, you do not buy it. When they turn the servers off you have a coaster for your beverage.
Those games do not have offline whatsoever, no campaign, nothing. The only difference is, those do not have a monthly fee. You are basically saying that they shouldn’t charge you to play World of Warcraft because it has no offline game.
You can’t compare DCUO to PSO or PSU, those are not persistent world games. Those games are about 5% of DCUO, not even kidding.
DCUO is like Infamous, but lower res graphics and not as good physics. You have to play it to see. The buildings are huge and you can see for miles. What you see, you can go over to as well. Maintaining those servers ain’t going to be as cheap as Phantasy Star P2P gaming.
I would like an offline campaign, but not at the expense of the maingame. People would complain about that too.
I just watched the little trailer for the new SSX game, and it made me sad.
What the hell is that crap?
JUST BRING BACK EA BIG AND MAKE THE GAMES FUN. PEOPLE LIKED THEM BECAUSE THEY WERE FUN. You ruined NBA Street by taking it to DA STREET FO REALS and this new SSX direction looks extra dumb as well. Where was the color?!?!
At least Uncharted 3 looks like it has ball busting graphics.
If it’s about busting insane jumps on insane courses then yes SSX is back. I guess I shouldn’t jump the gun based on a teaser trailer but I am happy to see them trying it again.
Not so sure I’m gonna like this new SSX. IMO, they need to stop going the direction of 3 (sandbox, realistic mountains) and go back to the over the top, roller coaster stylized tracks of the original and Tricky.
