Try booting up MGS4 and let me know what happens.
I have it, it’s great fun. I’ll try to scrounge up a group together to get some bombing madness going.
cooo, i’ve been a bomberman fan since snes. didn’t know if people still play it on psn
I have a 640GB scorpio blue in mine too (it’s the largest one that would fit since the 1TB is supposed to be a little too big), and I’ve had no problems with it.
FUCK YEAH! I always loved that game.
…And then you have a perfect RPG combat system in a shitty RPG.
Oh snap at FM3 coming to PSN, that game was baller.
RDR UN is awesome. I didn’t know I had a horse, so I spent the better part of my playtime on foot, running over to Blackwater, saving the town…then I saw a legendary creature outside the town: Pestilence. I figured “Hot damn, that is one bad-ass horse.” So I chased it. On foot. Into Tall Trees. Where there are undead wolf packs. Damn Pestilence. I accidentally pressed up on the control pad, and the damn horse comes running in like it was 10 feet behind me the whole time, watching and laughing while I’m getting pwned by dead varmints. Pesti got away, of course. I almost didn’t.
Can you talk to people without automatic cutscene stuff? In one town inhabited mainly by black people, there’s a lady outside of town limping around and she keeps hopping away from me when I get close. (maybe cuz I haven’t figured how to put my gun away) Something’s suspicious about her, and I’m sure I’m supposed to talk to her. Maybe I should shoot her in the other leg to slow her ass down some…
Dark Void and the new Bionic Commando, were they any good? I know they sold like shit but I wouldn’t mind somebody giving me their opinion on them.
Dark Void = No
Bionic Commando = Depends on who you ask. But usually you’ll get a No.
Bionic Commando is a good game. It’s a TPS at its core with some cool melee attacks and fun platforming, that and the graphics and music are awesome. The story was pretty interesting from I remember, too. I actually intend to replay the game at some point because I really enjoyed it and actually prefer it to BC: Rearmed. Definitely worth the 10-20$ it takes to buy it now(I bought it last Christmas for 20$.)
I never played Dark Void but I know that game is like 10-15$. Cheap as hell to take a gamble on, imo.
Officially posting in official thread re Got my $299 Amazon Black Friday PS3 bundle yesterday! 5 days early!!!
PS3 slim is so sexy…thing is tiny compared to my old PS3 I gave away. Only thing is I wish it had USB on the back…
Came with Uncharted 2, Pixel Junk, Karate Kid BD (lolz, gonna regift for 4yr old nephew) and a $25 credit for Amazon games. I bought Uncharted Drake’s Fortune also…game rocks!
Can’t wait to import Arcana Heart 3 and play it with no pants on…
wat.
are you crazy? it’s $7 at GS for a reason. No one should ever buy that game. period.
I don’t have a copy of MGS4.
Dark Void felt like a watered-down Uncharted (less weapons, less melees, less enemy variety, etc), but with a jetpack. Problem was that most stages weren’t designed to even make good use of the jetpack. You have this giant map that you’re free to fly around in, but all the enemies spawn/stay within only a small part of it. And other than a survival mode, there’s almost no replay value. No substantial secrets, unlockables, or hidden items (beyond weapon-upgrades & a few story-related journals) to find. Pretty much a rental-only affair.
I echo Sonicabid’s sentiments on Bionic Commando. Unlike BCR, ammo was somewhat scarce, so on occasion you’d have to make use of the other attack options. One thing I didn’t like was that many stages were deceptively small, both horizontally & vertically. I’d be swinging /climbing around, either to look for hidden items, escape enemy gunfire, or just get a bird-eye’s view of the land, and before I knew it had crossed into a radioactive zone (their equivalent of invisible walls) and quickly died.
It’s 9.99 without tax here on the base. I’ll definitely add it to my list.
I’ll help out. I was fortunate enough to have a Western Digital 500GB external HDD when I got my PS3 and it works like a champ. No fuss, no problems, just plug and play. It also is great for transferring my pr0n…err, “Personal movies” to the PS3 and back. I’ve had it for about 3 years or more and never once has it given me a problem. I have tried my Seagate 1TB on the PS3, but it doesn’t seem to see it. Here’s a WD drive below…
Hope that helps.
Wha? :wow: 2TB for 65$? I would’ve jumped on it too. I hope it doesn’t break on you though.
If you mean the DLC, I’ve got it too. I’ll try to jump online some time and blow stuff up.

the special mounts are tight, i never ran into pestilence. i think i got warsomething, where the horse is constantly on fire and you can ram people with the horse to light them up…awesome.
im outi
Roberth
I had $30 BB credit, but yeah. I wonder if it’ll break or not.
Some externals don’t use FAT32, so you would have to create a FAT32 partition on it using software for it to be recognized by a PS3.
Ah. Knowledge I have gained. Thanks.
