The reason they didn’t release Dante yet is because they know if they release Dante first, everyone will buy him and not care about everyone else which is probably why Kyrie was up the first.

Next week it’ll be that crazy scientist guy (forgot his name) and the savior pope guy Sanctus.

Yeah makes sense. Agnus will be cool to use if there are any musicals I can sum up in three words or less. Ditto for Sanctus if the Pope does something stupid.

Just about to say the same thing! Finally, Pac-Man for this current gen no longer means playing ports with crappy cell phone controls for me! Love the Pac-Mania style graphics you can use. 38% of trophies so far! LOL how they gonna give you a 30 Ghost combo trophy! :lovin:

Music is cool but I wish we had the option to swap it out with our own music like you can for MVC2. Would like to make my own 80s / 90s music soundtrack for that old school arcade experience while playing.

Yeah I bought Pac Man last night too. Fun stuff so far, although I wish there was just a no frills straight arcade mode where you play until you die to see who can get the best score.

I just finished Splatterhouse, it’s pretty good. The game is less cheesy than I thought it would be judging from the trailer, though it’s still really cheesy at some points. The game feels like an oldschool 2D beat 'em up in 3D, any sub-weapon from limbs, machete’s to shotgun’s all do more damage than any combo you have. Sub-weapons and Berserker Mode(mask takes over, increased damage, different moveset, invulnerability) are the way to handle things. Their’s very little platforming, the meat of the game is killing hordes of enemies all while trying not to get killed by the environment or overrun by all the enemies.

The game’s really short, though their’s a Survival/Challenge mode, an extra difficulty unlocked when you beat the game and the original 3 Splatterhouse games, which I need to check out at some point, if they’re the arcade versions.

I really liked this game and while I’d usually be in a rush to return the game and rent out something else, I’m gonna keep it for another day or two to rack up some trophies and try out Survival mode.

Hmm sounds like I’m in then. If there’s one criticism I don’t mind, it’s of the game being too short. It’s too bad the two versions of the original Splatterhouse on TG-16 aren’t unlockables for the sake of completeness (and the famicom game), but it will be cool to have the Arcade version of part 1 (2 and 3 were console-only).

GT 5 isn’t bad, it isn’t great either though. Very long load times. Installing to HDD took 50 minutes and I didn’t see as much of an improvement loading tracks as I thought I would.

Haven’t tried Multiplayer yet but I’ve heard bad things. Bad netcode, laggy, no matchmaking and no class categories.

I’ve only put in an hour so I’ll withhold judgement for a little longer until I’ve pushed further into the game but I think it just took too long to arrive and hasn’t lived up to my expectations. GT3 A-Spec remains my favourite.

You can join other peoples’ lobbies, mang. There should be an option there when you are looking at your list of people playing U2. The option only becomes available to select when the person whose lobby you wanna join is not in a game.
