I hate fighting the Black Friday crowds. Might scope out Walmart in the late afternoon to see what $10 PS3 games they have left. Otherwise, will check in on nearby Gamestops for $15 Killzone 2 & inFamous, as those will be on sale for three days.

Crazy taxi on psn is up for download. I just downloaded it. I missed this game. Haven’t played it in a while. It’s still as fun as ever even after 11 years. It also supports custom soundtracks. I placed the offspring and bad religion tracks in the exact same sequence they played on the DC, and now it feels like the DC version, lol. The soundtracks sega themselves picked are pretty decent for the game.
Action shit like Lost Planet 2, maybe Mafia 2, some older fighters…and AC Brotherhood according to all who played it and are familiar with the series, sucks nuts. No way in hell I’m tossing money at that.
Just found out about an upcoming RPG called Hyperdimension Neptunia, exclusive for the PS3. It is making fun of the current console war with variants of clans each representing the PS3, 360, and Wii. That joint takes place in “Gameindustri.” 
Sega characters will be involved too! I hope it’s not another crappy JRPG but hey let Platinum allow you to shove Bayonetta in there somewhere and I’ll be interested at least!

I’ve known about this game for months, was rather surprised that it’s getting an eng. release. Hopefully the gameplay will be good.

Is Darksiders decent? I’m trying the demo…it seems okay, but the heavy, clunky-looking hero doesn’t feel like my style.
decent is the best way to describe darksiders. its just a little down letting when you realize its short and not a lot of replay.
What about boxing day?
Darksiders has fun dungeons, great graphics and a decent story, though the gameplay is lacking severely with very limited combat options. Shit, Nier has more options and that game is an action rpg with a much bigger focus on the rpg aspect.
I finished Vanquish earlier, got a bunch of trophies then stopped 1/2 way through my hard playthrough. I’m gonna return it for NFS or The Sly Collection, though at some point I want to go back to Vanquish, I feel like I’m just now starting to learn how to really play the game. Definitely one of my favorite TPS of this gen, I love how fast it feels and the sense of accomplishment you feel when destroying hordes of enemies all while doing crazy shit.
Okay, next question: Little Big Planet…does it have multiplayer offline, and is the level maker built-in, or dlc? And is it fun, most importantly?
multiplayer is also offline, level making is on the disk, it’s pretty fun especially playing some of levels people created
i thought the gameplay was ok, i was able to do some crazy creative shit with it. if you want to talk about limited combat options, let’s talk about enslaved.
