The Official PS3 thread

I wouldn’t even say that. The game was just hella deep. Like weapon customization and mini game depth out the ass. I actually got lost trying to get all the weapons to the point that I never beat the game. Got WKC and was severely disappointed in the lack of cel shaded graphics. The icing on that cake is looking at Ninokuni and wanting to slap the president of L-5 in his fucking face, because their technique got 300 TIMES BETTER. I was hoping for a progression from Rogue Galaxy to their next game, and instead they took The Squid’s route and totally beefed it.

Rogue Galaxy’s battle system was incredibly fun for me. It was fast paced and frenetic, and your A.I. buddies weren’t giant retards like they are in FF13. (lol team leader’s low on HP, so I’m gonna cast Shell!) The suggestion system was a nice touch, as it worked both offensively and defensively. I really need to beat that game. But shame on L-5 for not making WKC look like the masterpiece that Ninokuni is currently shaping up to be.

Whoa whoa whoa…The PSPGo lets you sync a DS3 to it for use on your TV? Will be grabbing one when the firmware for it gets cracked.

yeah the dungeons and save points was the game was ass. Please don’t play through the end because you’ll be highly upset.

The Fight: Lights Out is actually a decent cardio workout. I’m sweating over here!

What?

I’ve never heard about this game, just googled it and whoa it looks amazing.

My arms are spaghetti today cause of that game. I shouldn’t have done 7 matches in a row.

I think I might be picking up The Fight: Lights Out. I was looking forward to that game but forgot it was actually out.

It’s not.

I think he meant to say “The save points were poorly located and the dungeons were complete ass, don’t buy this game”…

He’s talking about Ni no Kuni looking amazing, not WKC

Sports Champions is pretty responsive, but I don’t care for being so active playing video games. Will whore out whatever easy trophies it has before I trade it in for a whopping $10.

Was hoping Pain would be better with Move support, but imo it’s more inaccurate & cumbersome.

Need to get Time Crisis ASAP.

Force Unleashed is not worth $60, half the game is watching cutscenes or jogging with no interaction. It is fun sometimes, because Starkiller is pretty beastmode. I’m glad I borrowed my homeboys copy he bought because I’m already on the 2nd to least level in my second sitting.

PSOne Abe’s Oddysee looks atrocious on my plasma HDTV, but we already knew that. LOL

I finally went back and played Bayonetta. Damn I am rusty. I forgot square is to shoot and almost forgot about R1 moves. I was even thinking there was a block button.

I am so unimpressed with Lords of Shadow that I find it hard to bother continuing on.

And this is the only Castlevania game where I’m not dieing to know what comes next or anything of the sort, and I’ve played pretty much all of them (including the N64 and PS2 ones).

I’m just seriously disappointed, and I haven’t even finished chapter 2 yet.

Damn, Chapter 2? You have 10 more chapters to go.

Second half of the game is way better than the first half. I like the game a lot, but it does have it’s problems, camera being the worst of them.

It’s just incessant filler at this point.

Find these things to unlock the door.

Find these shards to unlock this bigger door.

Find these crystals to unlock the last door.

It’s so fucking STUPID that the guy has a whip that can cut through stone but he has to beat the shit out of a spider just to crack a metal door open a few feet.

I don’t hate this game in any sense of the word, but I don’t love it, and as odd as it sounds, that irks me.

You need to stop questioning video game logic…

No see, God of War did right in that they never made you question it, everything just fit.

I don’t ever remember him gaining a tool or skill that made me go ‘why didn’t he do that in the first place’ or ‘shit, why is he bothering with that now’?

LoS is doing that. There’s a part I’m at where there’s a small stone wall with a metal door in the middle. It says, ‘Oh this door is too hard for you to break, but not for something else’. The only problem is there’s a crack in the wall that’s lower in height then he is, so why the HELL do I have to beat the shit out of a spider to get to the door, when the spider barely does anything to the door as a result? Fine, the guy jumps across 10 foot gaps when prompted but he can’t scale a 3 foot high wall, I get it. It’s still stupid. Shit, all the ‘monster riding’ parts are horribly forced. I’m just not feeling it.

RPG questing for “plot” items.

Just got me Yakuza 3 from Gamefly’s used sale for 20 bucks. Clean box, manual and disc. God damn current play list will prevent me from playing this game (FF13, Alpha Protocol, and PSN games). Also with Black Ops out and GT5 soon to be, Yakuza will find some loving somehow. Also how long is the average play time for Yakuza 3?

Yakuza 3’s a pretty long game. Average play time is in the 30-40 hour region.
