K-mart has been having some awesome deals: NGS2 for 19.99. However the k-mart near me has nothing worth buying in stock and only carries a limited supply for new games. Buying a game new is almost never worth it.
That said, I will buy GT5 minus day one. That game needs to come out soon.

No, they can’t. Apple has a rather high stock value and a rather large consumer electronics arm (their actual computers aren’t doing to well for good reason) but they can’t afford Sony.
The actual worth in a buy would cover all sorts of tech that Sony owns which price it well out of the range of apple. Even if they could the buy would run into all sorts of problems. Sony holds tech to a ton of manufacturing abilities that could land them in trouble, and let’s not forget apple actually hates making anything, they’d rather someone else do it.
The stock is also a risk, if Jobs goes the stock is fucked, people seem to forget how bad off they were till MS bought them out.
Apple isn’t buying Sony. If they are going to buy anything I’d bet on a chip maker.

What are you guys smoking? Unless you are counting the entire PS1 library, which I’m not sure is fair.

I think if I had to pick one off the top of my head, it would probably be PS2, as well. Or SNES, but that’s because I’m a sucker for those old-school Square RPGs.

I would rate NES, Genesis, SNES, PS1 well ahead of PS2 in virtually every category. I mean PS2 even loses out to dreamcast when it comes to certain genres
