wow anybody thinking of getting disgea 4? i never played 3, but it does look like fft and jean the arc a lot. might get it if it gets good ratings.

That game was nothing short of fantastic. I just finally finished it recently.
I’ll probably be buying Disgaea 4, because I’m a full-fledged sucker for SRPGs. If I have a glaring weakness that you could hit me for massive damage in (not unlike a giant enemy crab), it would no doubt be that.
jean the arc was great. i stayed in another city for 2 weeks, and borrowed my cousins psp so i would have something to do at late nights. kof orochi saga and jean the arc gave me lots of good nights. i also finished the game, but gave t back when i was starting to do those after game ending dungeons for those extra weapons/armours/items and whatever. also rufus ftw (its that dogg, right?).

Yah, that’s what made me crack up. When I went to purchase the game (At some F.Y.E. in Miami) I took the box to the counter and the guy asked one of the girls to “pick up a copy of Jean Dark from the back”. “Jean” as in “Gene”. Seriously, “Jean Dark?”
I know most people won’t pronounce it properly as it’s French, but every time I see it misspelled or hear it mispronounced, it makes me smile.
The game was seriously great. Every time I see any news from Level 5, I’m always hoping it’s a “spiritual sequel” or a remake or something.

Various factors, exchange rate being to highest factor. The dollar had been getting its’ teeth kicked in by the yen for a few years.
When I went to Japan in 2006 it was $1.00=115 yen, now it is $1.00=82 yen, that is a huge difference. The price is probably the same it was for years in yen, but the exchange rate converting it to dollars makes it look expensive.
Import cost as well, they are going to tack on a few $$ to make it worth their while to sell it to you.
hell yes. I unlocked the final weapon about a week ago. this is not your fathers shoot-em up. Music mode is still a bit of a weird one to me still. I’m not sure how it is making the music, but it’s fun all the same.

I know I’m really behind the eight-ball here, but I recently finished the first Uncharted and the second one is on the way via GameFly. The first one was really good.
Uncharted 2 is way better than the first one in every way, you are in for a treat.

It was fun, back when I was a kid, I just really want Fox and Capcom to work out something for AvP side-scrolling. That is the only Final Fight type game I need.
