Yeah, SP is so fun. I really hope they add online MP later. I’d even pay extra for it, considering the game is $10 when I would’ve easily paid more for it.
Downloaded PS3 Media Server, its pretty sick but it kinda sucks i can’t play VLC movies like i want to. Some animes have dual audio and subtitles you can turn on or off. Doesn’t work with ps3.
I currently use Tversity to stream media on my PS3 and it has worked pretty well so far. If you’re going to watch stuff with subtitles with Tversity, you may want to check out this out.
Scott Pilgrim is a blast.
Playing through on “HOLY SHIT THE ENEMIES HIT FOR 40” or whatever the hardest setting is actually called. 
I suck, having a hard enough time on Average Joe difficulty.
Game is very glitchy on my Slim though. Music randomly cuts out, can’t pause, etc. Seems other folks are having probs as well. First Monkey Island & now this. God dammit Sony what the fuck’s up w/ your QA process? Eh, so long as it doesn’t start freezing my system I’ll see it through. Game’s too damn fun.
Didn’t have money to buy Scott Pilgrim today, so I let my friend use my account to buy it.
He swtiched my credit card to his, but it’s not taking payments right now because it hasn’t been paid off from last month.
Now I can’t change it back.
Has this happened to anyone else? How long will it take for me to be able to change it back to my card? Once his payment goes through and they authorize it?
you can watch videos with subtitles, i do it all the time when i play .mkv files. on the ps3, when you are in the directory of the video file, you should see a separate #transcode# folder. if not, check your settings in the program to enable this. inside that folder it will show different versions of the file. the subbed version will have sub in the filename.
also, been playing Scott Pilgrim. games awesome. been getting my ass handed to me on the normal difficulty. i keep forgetting to hold O to block. i would definitely like to see a multiplayer patch for this game sometime in the near future.
What’s wrong with using the built in media server function that the PS3 has? It automatically finds my Vista computers on the network and lets me stream from them. I know of PS3 Media Server and Tversity, but I never bothered to use em cause it was more work that I didn’t think was needed. Are they that much better? If it’s because of a Mac or trying to just play the media directly from the PS3 then I’ve answered my own question.

At times the game looked like it bugged, but we don’t think it did (like the Super, Super High Jumps? WTF is that about?). However, when we were all inside the Tae King kitchen (or whatever the level is called), our friend paused it, and once he un-paused it, the game froze. Really sucked ;(
The PS3 can only play certain filetypes. PS3 Media Server will transcode incompatible files on the fly to a format the PS3 can read (i.e. MKV files with embedded subtitles for one).
Just thought I’d post this up here as I just saw it. Might pick up a copy for myself.
