Nope, but free avs & themes are yours to keep, as well as whatever games/add-on content you buy that’s discounted by Plus membership.
I have no interest in leasing my games, but I do buy a shitload of stuff from the store, so the discount would probably pay off for me. They just have to discount some relatively newer stuff, rather than old content I already bought at full-price.
Yeah, but at the same time, there has been like 5-8 games made free for psn+ subscribers. Even at $5 a piece (which some are higher, from what I recall), that’s almost the price of the year of plus membership. And you get to play those for 15 months minimum, assuming you don’t renew. They also update psn+ content every week, which is pretty crazy. I was expecting once a month to be honest.
I don’t like the idea of them being only “sort of free” either, but still. It’s the only way to protect people buying short-term memberships and reaping all the benefits indefinitely. It would be somewhat counter-productive on their part if it was not this way.
RE: Trinity Universe:
I’m not sure how good it’s going to be, but I ordered it today and it should be here by Friday.
I’m a sucker for JRPGs and their cliches, and I’m also a fan of Nippon Ichi, so it’s kinda a win/win situation for me, but I’ll see if I can post some honest impressions about it.
I finished Deathspank before I left for Jamaica, so when I get back home on Thursday evening I’ll be ready to bite into something new, and that (and BBCS) will be there shortly after, hopefully. =)
you know the only thing i wonder is when the next gen systems comes out, whether our profiles are going to be able to transfer. can i still use my heatfury profile and keep all the trophies i earned and add to them. if im a premium member do i still need to pay for premium in ps3 and for ps4, or is the online aspect of it going to be shared. nawmeandawgs
I would imagine that it would transfer. Can anyone confirm if it transferred from the original XBOX to the 360? I’m pretty sure it did, but never paid for Live back then, so can’t say with certainty.
So, yeah. I finally figured out how to get just enough funds in my PSN Wallet to capitalize on that MVC2 deal. When things were cleared, I went on PSN, and now the deal’s gone.
BTW, the way I added funds to my PSN wallet was entering in my Debit card info on PSN’s site from my PC. There was a $1 charge from my bank to put the money in. Is there a way I can bypass that in the future?
that’s odd. i use chase and there’s no charge. what’s your bank? maybe you should contact them. you shouldn’t get charge for using your debit card unless it’s atm
I think my PS3 took a crap on me. I was playing Battlefield, when in the middle of a game “it froze,” so I had to shut it off. When I turned the playstation back on it would not read the disc nor can I eject it. ugghhh. Anyone experience something like this? Also I have a Fat ps3
Namco Bandai: “Derp derp we didn’t release the Wii version of Tales of Graces in the US, but don’t worry! We’re releasing a PS3 version…that we’re ALSO not gonna release in the US! On top of the enhanced version of Tales of Vesperia for PS3 that we didn’t release in the US AND the new PS3 Tales game we just announced…that’s not gonna be released in the US. Yay!”
If you haven’t played it on 360 because you were waiting for the PS3 version (which is understandable), I’d go ahead and pick it up on 360. Scamco’s made it clear they don’t give a fuck about anyone that isn’t Japan when it comes to Tales games, because Vesperia didn’t pull FF numbers overseas like Symphonia did (which was because there was NOTHING on Gamecube in the way of good RPGs).
We got screwed on Tales of Graces Wii/PS3, Tales of Vesperia PS3, the new unnamed one, AND Tales of the World 2/3. I’ll always be grateful we got Tales of the Abyss and Symphonia, though.
