I have that game (the Non-Greatest Hits Version), but sorry man, it is not for sale. I’m sure I don’t have to tell you how awesome it is, so you understand that I’d want to keep it. I’m all for getting it on PS Store. I’d rather see a new generation of gamers have a chance to experience it.
By the way, does anyone know when/if Street Fighter Alpha 3 is going to be released on the PS Store? I was considering getting the PSP SFA3, but Capcom stupidly nerfed the sound effects. A significant part as to why SFA3 is my favorite SF game is the bone-shattering SFXs. When you land those counter-hits…BAK-KAK-KAK-Kak-kak!!!*, it such FEALS so satisfying!
Myself, I thought the best one was Suikoden Tactics. Fuuuun game, blah plot. The others ranged from decent (Suikoden 3) to engaging, if pretty plain (Suikoden 1 and 2), serviceable but bland (Suikoden 4) to urgh (Sukoden 5).
So let me get this right…not only did Namco fuck us out of Tales of Graces on Wii, they’re fucking us out of the PS3 remake…AND the new PS3 title?
Wow. I bet this is Team Destiny’s doing, none of the games they release ever get effing localized. For those who don’t play a lot of Tales games, “Team Destiny” and “Team Symphonia” refer to two of the groups in Tales Studio (Bandai Namco’s division for the series). Team Destiny typically likes to make old-school side scrolling Tales games that never see the light of day here, while Team Symphonia makes the good ones (case in point, Tales of Symphonia). :lol:
it’s too bad i got into the tales series, because now that i like their games i have to deal with a shitty company that will just constantly fuck over the american side of the market.
Tales of Eternia (Tales of Destiny 2 in the US) was pretty cool. I never liked Tales of Destiny 1 on psx all that much
yeah, I really like the tales series. it’s annoying they don’t bring over more of them. I bought a bunch of the tales games while I was in Japan so I need to start playing. I got Rebirth, PS2 remake of Destiny, Destiny 2 (the real one), Phantasia (both snes and psx versions, though I beat the snes one years ago on emu). There’s also like 3 or 4 tales games for the DS I need to buy (though I think only tales of hearts is supposed to be good)
I’m not a fan of Tales games (dislike to hate most of them, but found a few to be enjoyable) but it must be frustrating to be a fan and not be fluent in Japanese.
That said, one of the DS ones got a full translation completed recently. Tales of…Graces? Or Hearts? Something like that.
Ok I have sort of a dilemma. I had a fat PS3 a while back and I had to get rid of it. Now I bought a new slim PS3 and I decided to use my old PSN account. Before this, I had shared my account with several people and now when I try to download something from the store, it says I can’t activate the system because 5 people have activated my account on their PS3 already. I asked two of my friends to delete my account straight off their PS3 and I’m still getting the message. Can anyone help?
i’m leanin towards biting the bullet for ps+. just want that free 3 months before it runs out next week supposedly. i still think it’s shitty so far. pay a service to save money :wtf: they should offer discounts for “free” games. i’d want critter crunch to keep but i ain’t payin 7 bux.
despite its obvious flaws, i’m really enjoying mgs4.

I didn’t care for ToV. But I will say though I don’t care the other games aren’t being ported, it is bullshit how namco treats it’s overseas audience despite the popularity of the series.
Team Destiny battle system > Team Symphonia’s. By a mile. Symphonia’s battles were okay but I got bored of Abyss. Team Destiny battle systems are much more hectic and fun imo.
I played Star Ocean 2 and 3 as a substitute for Tales, and with all the Bamco news about no localization (which isn’t really new) I’ll probably get SO4 when its price drops, despite the negative reviews it’s gotten. Right now I just want to play an RPG, and no I am not replaying FF13, that’s about as fun as jogging down a highway.
*Once again…avoid the PSP version, but definitely get the PS3 version of this game. It makes all other kart racing games pointless, imo. A play/create/share kart racer…genius. I can’t even remember how many characters and cars I’ve created at this point, and I have so many more ideas left to put into that legendary game.
heh, it’s funny when you come up with something in unbelievably bad taste. I had a few sick ideas just now that could never be published online. Surprisingly, my “bloody maxi pad” character was never banned though…perhaps since he’s just not that famous in the first place. He’s successfully “under the radar”.
