I did that, and then put the SW2 disc in, then put XL2 back in, it gave me the option to select “Hanzo’s dream”, which was the character I last beat the game with, though.
If you already have the save…import just theSW2 save file before the main screen loads. It should ask you to do so.

I did that, too, it says “press circle for SW2 file”, which I did, but was still left with the BS roster. Still, I want Motochika, but I could care less about the others,heh.
That’s weird.
I just did it on my PS2…and EVERYONE was in story mode, inlcuding the OG character.
Maybe I need to try this on my PS3.
Ok, something’s not working with the PS3, now it says open disc tray again, even if I pressed circle to upload SW2 file.

the weird thing is that my rock band games load and SF4 doesn’t while SF4 works on OTHER ps3s

I’m copping Vanquish on day one, from the rest of the year I’m most excited for that particular game.
I’m finally upgrading to a current gen console. I mostly play fighting games and RPGs, so PS3 seems like a good choice. Also, a fair amount of other games that I want to play are either PS3 only or for both PS3/360. Now that the Arcana Heart 3 port is coming out, I want to get a PS3 asap, but not before I find out as much as I can before buying. So I have some questions. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
**1. It seems that all PS3’s are region free for it’s games and online is free. Is it still possible to play fighting games imports on US PS3 online? If so, is it country specific or the whole world?

Playing the original infamous and it’s still as fun as when I stopped (dunno why I even did)
The only thing that bugs me is that sometimes I don’t know what the hell to do on some missions. I really just get totally lost despite the game telling me where to go/do. I hope I can beat this game before 2 hits, I’ve been lazy about playing it.
Back when Infamous was new, I was in the middle of the evil hard run on Infamous when the power went out to the barracks. Lost two hours of progress, never went back to the game.
if i put my ps3 slim 250 gb on the floor where its wood, the back side of the ps3 gets very hot. but if i put the ps3 on something so that the lower part isnt touching the floor it can vent it easier. q, is my ps3 fucking up, or do all ps3’s become too hot when put on wood?

quick question: if you do the restore PS3 system format option does that deactive all the PSN accounts from teh console as well or do you have to manually deactivate the accounts before you format it?

Good god, Capcom has curb-stomped every other dev/publisher combined this year as far as I’m concerned.
I don’t know for sure but just to be on the safe side I would deactivate the accounts first, because I’ve been fucked over by this BS personally, and it annoys me greatly and Sony won’t do anything without a proof of purchase for each of the systems the account is on. (It’s PSP related but it follows the same principle as PS3s)
^ I was wondering about that too…me and a friend gameshare stuff and im up to 5 systems with my account on it, his being the 5th. He recently gave that system he has to his mom as a blu ray player, and deleted everything from that console, including profiles.
He now has a new 60 gig he uses as his main, but he didn’t de-activate my account on his old console before deleting anything. Any suggestions?
