Progear…Very nice! I’m still finishing up my blast. It’s taking longer than I thought it would.
They always seem to take longer than they should. This one took a few months to get where it is. Cap kit is coming in soon and I’ll need to take about 2 hours to do that.
Yeah. I thought I was just going to put my dreamcast in it and be done. Now I’m scouring the Internet for cps2 boards in all hours of the night. Got a avp on the way too. Don’t know how it happened…

I actually got this before the Blast on impulse (to cheap to pass up). It was a jambo safari driving universal naomi cabinet. I had to put this project aside due to the fact that its is ridiculously hard to find the control panel enclosure for a new net city/ naomi universal. I even accidentally bought one for a New versus city, which im going to turn into a supergun. I got lucky last month and finally found one in japan!
Now the conversion/restoration continues.
Why would you want emulators if you have an arcade cabinet…Kind of defeat the purpose of having authentic machines playing fake games.
Yeah CPS2 is pricey, i cant believe i sold my Marvel vs Street Fighter for $60 A+B…Now i cant get close to that price. There is only 3 cps2 i really want its Pro Gear, SF Anniversary, & Alien vs Predator. Also still need Marvel vs Street Fighter & Marvel vs Capcom.

I noticed a lot of peoples cps2 wish list is similar. Mine is also progear, avp and ssftx / sfanniversary. I have avp on the way so just have work on the other two. Im also looking for puzzle fighter. I just dont want to pay the asshole prices that everyone wants to charge. Hopefully they do another group buy from japan soon. Damn cps2
I have several machines but I just want something easy to use for my family/friends whenever they visit. I have one of those recroom masters cabs and just have a 360 in there for now, wanted to throw a PC to emulate old games (which I already own). That’s all 
Since you already have a 360, i would suggest getting an RGH 360. You can put emulators on there but you can also put other stuff like all your 360 games so you dont have to switch out games. That used to be my 2player Kraylix setup before converting it into a Xbox One Killer Instinct cab.

So jealous of people and their Blast Cities. That’s going to be the next big purchase I’m going to budget for; they don’t come up at all over on the east coast of Canada. Will probably have to sell off my left kidney in shipping to get one or something.
I mean, I have my custom cabinet, but that houses an LCD screen and an Xbox 360. I need something to run the small collection of CPS2 games I’ve bought since I started collecting them about 2 months ago. But I’ll agree, it’s a pretty slippery slope, collecting CPS2 games. So far, I have SSF2, SSF2X, Marvel Super Heroes, X-Men CotA and Pocket Fighter. Hoping to eventually get AvP, SF Zero3, Puzzle Fighter, and Vampire Savior2.
Emulators themselves are not illegal. Most of the patents on the older consoles long since expire any ways, its how clone consoles can be made and sold with out Nintendo suing them.
It is how alot of Retro Ports are even running on modern systems.
Its the download of Roms them self that is illegal. As copyright last for much longer.

And I finally hooked up the my naomi with compact flash reader. Only game I have now is MVC2 but that will change very soon. They say that the dreamcast version is 99% arcade perfect. I say that is not close enough.
