The second cab isn’t done yet.

The 2nd loom I picked up from excellentcom.net turned out to have a major issue.

Turns out that P1 and P2 directionals, starts and coins were all snipped from the JAMMA connection point as well as the point that goes into the Sega Model 3 I/O board. :-/
I’ve had to manually solder wiring to all 12 points and lead them all directly to the control panel.

So only 1 of the 2 is up for now, i’ll probably get the 2nd one done in the next week or so.

Okay, I guess I’ll go ahead and post my “man-cave” setup now too. (sorry if the pics aren’t very clear)

Here is the pride and joy of my collection, and it’s a tribute to “The Stargate” and all my SF years.

Here’s my supergun setup, with custom modded Madcatz sticks. (also a tribute to my old “Stargate” years)

And here is my PC cabinet, for running MAME, GGPO, and other emulators on. It was a Megalo cab that had a bad projection screen, so I gutted it, and converted it into this.

And here’s a pic of the entire room.

It’s my retreat and relaxation room, and it’s good for whenever I can get some of the old SF guys together.
What can I say… SF is still in my blood… even if only a little bit.

Wow that’s a crazy setup man. My girl would kill me if I had that many cabs. I had enough trouble convincing her to let me put one in our living room lol.

Good stuff. The great thing about japanese cabs is that they fit almost anywhere if you arrange them correctly.

Man those modern arcade cabs looks so freaken sweet, too bad the modern games suck ass…

Finally got my first cab the other day. It’s a very converted HF cab that I found on craigslist,but not bad. A cab’s a cab. Gonna have to do some work on it and get it all nice and purtty lookin.

The thing that I found very interesting about it is that It has 2 very old rusted ball tops/square gates in it.

My Vewlix L cabinet:

I modified it with artwork, the CAPCOM SFIV Vewlix set, 100 yen sticker and a Vewlix F coin entry. The black side clips of the Vewlix L don’t match with the red SFIV Vewlix parts, so I used chrome car wrap to give them the metallic finish.
