I got my Vewlix L cabinet! I’m using it for both XBOX 360 and PC

I edited, printed and cut the artwork. I still need to find the Ryu + controls artwork/banner for the part between the upper speakers. Currently, I’m still configuring the PC stuff. The XBOX 360 work is done. I’ve searched far and wide on online retailers, but they all require insecure payments through TT transfer. Im getting ready to possibly buy a New Net City from Ken at the gameroom if you want to give him a call, he has 4 left. No burn in and all in excellent condition.
Yeah i was waiting for Ken to send me pics but he never sent them…I guess its a good thing as i rather just get 2 kraylix cabs for about the same price…Dont buy all of them,i still want one, but need to save up again…
I love the kraylix cabs but I worry about long term durability outside my personal care. Didn’t you have a kraylix you lent to a meet that was messed up when you got it back?
Yeah my cab got jacked up, it was Retro convention mixed w/ Battle of Seattle, lots of randoms just jacked it up a bit…It was mostly just the paint & im planning to repaint it this summer. The things i hate about the arcades is well the monitor…They are such a pain, w/ Kraylix all got to do is pay like $150 for a new Evo monitor if ever goes wrong…I got ripped off by Kingsley when he sent me my Astro cab w/ a huge ass Tetris burn in, haven’t been able to find a replacement monitor nor has been easy to sell the whole cab…But damn those New Net City looks nice, that’s why i want at least one of those & a stand up Naomi & then i think i will be all set until Vewlix cabs drop in prices or those Deltas haha…
I love it. Its a bit lower than I expected but I’ll get used to it.
I’m going to do some light reconditioning with the bezel. Want to get a new cpo for single player games where I can swap it out as the situation deems it.
I had a carrier pick it up from nirth of New Orleans to north Florida. ~ 220$ use uship.com they have carriers that do this all the time.
I know this sounds crazy but 2800 doesn’t really sound that bad for a shipped Vewlix as long as you can wire it up for console use. Not that I have that kind of scratch…
The monitor is what scares me to death. If mine were to go out it would cost the total price of the cab to replace.
I live in a tiny apt in NYC with my GF, I’ve been dying to turn an old SFII cab into and Xbox 360 cab so I can play standing up. As soon as I move to a bigger space, it’s on. What should I don for a monitor?
