I would really like to make a h2h 3s setup but I think it would be a waste considering how shitty the cps3 is at life expectancy.

It depends on how authentic you want to be. A lot of people are of the view that if it’s not arcade hardware, it not authentic. Others don’t care that much.
Me, if I made a mame cab, I’d use if for pacman and shit like that. For fighters, it’s all about a dedicated board.
Yeah, I can thank good ol’ Uncle Sam for that one. Normally I wouldn’t spend ~$300 on a single game, but I love Ibara and hate how blurry the PS2 version looks.
Despite owning that, I’m still thinking of getting a 2L12B panel and putting the screen horizontal so I can use it for SF, TvC, and such, maybe deal with having shmups in yoko for a while. If only I had the cash for another cab…
