You probably only need a multi VGA box right? Should be able to switch pretty easily…Im too lazy so i bought multiple cabs haha
building a viewlix-y/noir-y custom 32" out of 3/16" and 1/8" mild steel. Base done, welding up the control panel tomorrow, viewlix inspired (angular) I’ll take pictures. This thing is a beast. I initially wanted to go with wood but I’m terrible with it. Metal fabrication is so much easier for me.
I was thinking about Seimitsu-ing (heh) my cab with a pair of LS-56 and some PS-14G buttons. I need about $100 to make it happen. I’m trying to decide if I dislike the JLFs that much.
Seimitsu, Ive had 4 JLFS break on me after long term use, I have the same Seimitsu stick and buttons in my other cab I have had for many years now still working with no problems. I have a deep hatred for sanwa jlf’s and breaking It’s not because I’m beating them all to shit either. I’m pretty delicate when I play. Seimitsu is the better stick to go for if you’re looking for long term use in my opinion they last much longer. I think buttons are a preference but seimitsu are better for me.
Here is my general purpose arcade setup. I have worked on it on and off for 2 years now(It is hard to work when you can play it). The HDD just died. I have a backup, but I don’t have an IDE drive for it yet.It has a 19 inch 1080p dell monitor in it(although I don’t run it at 1080p, the graphics card can’t handle it, but I have it there as an upgrade option), rotated vertically. The PC in it now is a PIII, but I have wanted to upgrade it for a long time. Astro City Button Layout, Happ Comp’s with Sanwa Buttons. The panel was custom fabricated(and spray painted) so I didn’t have to alter the cabinet in any way. It even tips out in the original manner. And I am not a huge fan of congo bongo, it was what the cabinet used to be until it died, so I just left the theme that way because I had all the parts.

Someone sprayed it with that weird popcorn stuff they put on ceilings. I am going to sand it off someday, as well as replace the T-Molding, which I will probably do in Red. The coin mechs work, the blue button is a free credit button(it was there before, so I figured I should wire it up) and that little red hanging button(if you can see it, it is at the lock hole) is my exit button, which is only temporary until I can get a red happ button(which I am going to purchase the next time I need some other sort of arcade part).

I definitely prefer Seimitsu buttons. It’s PS-14G all day long baby. I put them on everything.
The LS-56 w/octo gate is my favorite stick for fighters. It’s just when I tossed it all in my cart I was staring at $100. I’ll do it on a birthday or Christmas or something. I don’t play often enough to kill a stick (especially now with baby). I’d be very surprised if I managed to kill a JLF.

That looks a little high. I don’t know much about vewlix cabs though. Looks nice though. Which one were you looking at? One player or two?
How is that a high price? That’s about $100 cheaper then Kray’s Vewlix…
Anyway, i love my Vewlix clone but damn if im ever going to bring it to a tournament ever again…
LOL! im not sure their is another Cab for $375 without the top part. I was going to use my Dell U2711 and have my PC on the side and have a dual PC/Fight cab
Then have the x360 inside. I can then add my own custom Keyboard slideout tray for my PC games like Battlefield 3 then switch to the fighstick for fighters. I already bought SSF4EA on steam for July PC release!
I love my Dell and its staying because of the Resolution realestate of 2560x1440.

On all 4 JLF’s it feels like right and left microswitches are barely responding anymore I can’t figure out what’s wrong with them. But I know Seimitsu has never done this to me ever. So I’m going to stick with what’s actually working unless someone knows why or how to fix my problem then maybe Ill sell the JLFS, But i def won’t sell them in the condition there in If i can’t use them no one else can either.

I’d be quite proud to have made that.
Finally got my Dynamo to a “done” state…for now.
I’m thinking of having a new top panel piece cut for my Control panel this way I can make sure the buttons are spaced correctly. It’s a shame i’ll lose my World Warrior Art, but I think Carbon Di-Noc would work well as a replacement.

the craigslist gods have smiled upon me 
scored this SFII CE cab + SEVEN extra jamma boards for $100. other games are Super Street Fighter II Turbo (!!), Street Fighter 2 Excellerated (some modded/hacked version of SFII), X-Men: Children of the Atom, Rush’n Attack, Crime Fighters, Dungeons and Dragons: Tower of Doom and Magic Sword.
the only thing it needs is a new monitor. can anyone here recommend a reputable person or shop that could give me a reasonable price? feel free to PM if you can help me out.

I dont see how anyone can sell 7 games for $100…Let alone ST & D&D…Not to mention you got a cab to go with it…
