wow greg raymer is really proving that he’s no fluke! Micahel the Grinder seems like a pretty good poker player, but i’m rooting for Howard Lederer, Phil Ivey, and Sammy Farha

Dutch Boyd is holding it down

I’m picking him and John Juanda to make the final table.

Good to see Matt Hilger still in. He’s like…my poker sensei, so I’m cheering hard for him. It’s too bad he’s a short stack, but at least he’s getting paid again.

Also I’m super curious to see what Dustin Woolf looks like on TV. For those who don’t know “Neverwin”, he’s one of the most successful online players out there. He crushes the high limit games on UB and Stars, including destroying some big name players heads up. Good to see him doing well also.

If an internet player wins this, I hope it’s “neverwin” cuz he’s a really really good online player.

I guess Varkonyi’s wife is a better poker player than her husband…

The Varkonyi’s both suck. Raymer is actually a pretty good player, way better than Moneymaker. It’s amazing how well pros are doing actually, given how many amateurs there are now.

Neverwin is funny. I watch him play the 100/200 games at Stars sometimes, his opponents just have the wrong gameplan. I think someone with the right gameplan could do well against him, but when I watch everyone just falls for his tricks over and over again and he runs over them. Of course, if they adjusted maybe he would adjust to.

If I was playing against Neverwin in a limit game I would NEVER fold. NEVER. Don’t even consider it. You can only call or raise.

If you play on Pokerstars IIRC the pokerstars blog had some pictures of him.

yea, i tried to use the stars blog to find out how a couple of my friends did (didnt make it past day 1) and I saw the pics.

Team Full Tilt is doin really well actually (Ivey, Juanda, Lederer). To think, if any of those pros win, they’d win 10 mill more to make 17.5 mill, then whoever won the piece of the pro tourneys a while back would make 1.75 mill.

I wonder if “The Crew” is still together?

I’d like to see John Juanda make it to the final table…

185 players left

Greg Raymer is Chip leader going into today with 1 064 000
Phil Ivey is 7th with 722 500
Howard Lederer is 31st with 496 500
Mike Matusow is 39th with 454 000
John Juanda is 59th with 354 000
Russ ‘Dutch’ Boyd is 165th with 92 000

he always make it to the final table for wpt i would like to see him win for once…

58 players left

Tim Phan is Chip leader with 3 244 000
Mike Matusow is 2nd with 2 561 000
Phil Ivey is 5th with 2 027 000
John Juanda is 25th with 841 000
Greg Raymer is 31 with 766 000

LEDERER OUT =( Greg Raymer seemed like he took a hit or something.
PHIL FUCKING IVEY OR JOHN JUANDA BETTER BRING SOME GUNS and Tim fucking Phan representing the Viets =)

If Ivey wins it will be so fucking good for poker.

It really is the year of the pro…last year I remember making a bet and losing when I said there would be more than 3 pros at the final table. Now…4 out of the top 5 are Professionals.

Raymer took hits when his K-Q lost to A-Q.

I hope James Butt makes the final table just so I can hear some lame jokes from Norman Chad.

Juanda is out.

Matusow, Ivey and Raymer still in.

27 players left… raymer still top 9 phan drop a littlee and matusow chip leader now…

from players left i would want ivey to win or phan [FOR THE VIETS]

did anyone catch the live poker thingy on FSN?

27 players left:

Mike Matusow is chip leader with 5 140 000
Phil Ivey is 2nd with 4 635 000
Greg Raymer is 5th with 3 840 000

Final table will be tomorrow, and from the looks of things it’s gonna be an all-out war.

go ivey…that guy deserves one, seriously…just don’t play AQ phil and ur fine…

Could Raymer got 2 consecutive final tables in the hardest years by far to do it in!? Go Raymer, he threatened to merc some dude at the WSOP I didnt know Raymer was gangsta like that.

wow, mike matusow making it to the final table. hopefully he can keep his composure and not go out into tears like he did last year haha.

i don’t know, i’m routing for either ivey or raymer to win it. Ivey cause hes one of my favorites at the table and raymer because it would be very cool for him to repeat. Not a one time sensation like moneymaker

This final table is gonna be weird.

The common raise will be like “2 million” and it wont mean shit.
