My Fraxure just got +24 attack after it leveled up! I don’t know why that just happened.
You probably got a lot of attack EVs between those two levels by fighting several Pokemon whose highest base stat is attack. You can also get EVs through vitamins, but if I remember correctly, it was changed in Gen 5 to automatically boost stats instead of waiting for the level up.

My Fraxure was just going through Dragonspiral tower laying the smack down on all of those team plasma guys. I’m talking to this guy who thinks Rivalry is a better ability than Mold Breaker. He asked me what does it do. I told him that it allows you to hit any Pokemon without any regard to their abilities. Like levitating Pokemon with ground moves, fire Pokemon with flash fire and things of that nature. His response? “That sounds pretty useless”. I’m like…HOLD THE FUCK UP! WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?!
Maybe you just have to let ignorant people be ignorant. Being able to hit Bronzong, Eelektross, Weezing and Gengar with earthquake is worth it.

I beat the main story and got the National Pokédex. Time to breeze through the rest of the game with my Level 100 Pokemon.

I beasted Brycen with Darmanitan. he literally fire punched his way through the entire gym, with a couple other moves tossed in to finish off cubchoo’s that used endure. I also, somehow forgot about turning my plume fossil into Archen, but fixed that and already have a level 40 Jolly Archops. I didn’t realize I could get Axew before I went up the dragonspiral tower. I need to invest some time catching one.
I don’t know why, but I laughed hella hard when I read this.

Okay jerk! I’ll continue to use my in game team for the second half of the game, but I’m using my hacks at the Battle Subway.
honestly, i believe if you got em, use em. if it weren’t for the fact i actually use my ingame team for battle, i’d be coasting on the 100lvld board for as long and far as i can during the second half of the game. i’d especially use em to catch them legendaries. (assuming you haven’t caught em arouned)
I’ve only caught Cobalion, Virizion, and Zekrom so far. Fuck it, I’m going back to my original plan of using my Level 100’s. Thanks for the advice!
well there’s nothing wrong for cheating for those trainer cards imo, it was ridiculous in DPP obtaining them.

it’ll be interesting to see what nature people go with for fraxure, rivalry isn’t particularly bad just for the boost. And, with that ATK base might as well get hit by a choice band rampordos x(
personally though I want mold breaker, lets not forget it tears through wonder guard

Can anyone tell me the deal with smogon? I haven’t played since Platinum / [media=youtube]Mdyc5x4NwYA"[/media] so I just tryna catch up on whats been going on strategy wise, but the strategy section seems outdated there. Is the community still active?
Smogon’s in the middle of figuring out what’s going to be standard in Gen V. They just finished a month-long testing session and are voting on potential OU 'mons and what should/shouldn’t be banned. They re-wrote a bunch of the Gen IV Pokemon pages several weeks ago, but I have no idea how long it will take for them to figure out the current gen.
Right now if you want Gen V strategy you’re gonna to have to search the forums. There are some early analysis pages up that still need editing/peer review, but they’re still helpful OU Analyses - Smogon Community.

I just got a Jolly mold breaker Axew on my first shot. I wanted an adamant but I will settle for this. After catching 5 sawks and god knows how many darumakas (both of which I settled for a neutral nature because it was either that or negative attack natures) I was ready to take the first decent natured axew
also, since it’s been a while since I’ve battle I checked out smogon. When did Salamence become uber? I remember when garchomp got changed but had no clue salamence did too, also why did he get promoted to uber?
