Reserved my copy of Pokemon Black. We get it on March 6th.
I have both reserved and if I end up not getting a 3DS I’m going to buy another Lite for my girlfriend so we can both play. She’s just as excited as I am.

Hopefully my copy arrives on Sunday. I doubt it, so I’m hoping for it on Monday. Either way I only paid $30 because of a screwup on Future Shop’s website. :woot:
I’ve had the game for 2 days now. BJ’s broke the street date. I was just shopping and I was like “HOLY SHIT POKEMON WHITE IS ON THE SHELF!”. I already had Black pre-ordered at gamestop.
I’ve been playing non-stop. I already have five badges. I just beat Clay. I really like it so far, I’m more impressed than I thought I would be. After Krokorock used Swagger on my Scraggy (Zuruggu) it was lights out for that nigga.

Everyone on my team is a champion in their own right. My only complaint really was the poor beginning. A lot of the beginning route Pokemon sucked ass, and I mean they SUCKED. Starting with pinwheel forest they get better. Then at the desert you have loads of great Pokemon at your finger tips. The selection gets better onwards. Lillipup is the only good first route Pokemon. Just don’t bother using anything else. Even that Monkey you get fucking sucks. I shouldn’t have been surprised, the beginning is the worst part in any Pokemon game; Except for D/P/Pt, the worst part of that game was the route prior to Snowpoint and Mt.coronet.

I’m not super hyped about the release of Black and White since I played through a japanese rom already, but I’m still looking forward to it.
Haven’t decided which version I’ll get first, though. Probably White.
Contrary to my last post, I did get Black, because I found money.
Started with Revolver Oshawott.
Just got White. I think I’ll go with Solid Snivy again.
I’m at Dragonspiral tower. I caught Kojofu/Mienfoo. This guy is so AWESOME! He is useful right at the beginning. I now know why he comes so late in the game, he’s ridiculously powerful for a first form Pokemon.
He’s so awesome that I boxed Scrafty (another one of my favorites). I’ve also boxed Darmanitan.

I chose Oshawott because he had the best stat placement IMO. I’m trying to train my Litwick so I can get a Chandelure. It’s not easy I can tell you that. I’m almost there though. As soon as it evolves into Lampent I’m going to Fukiyose/Mistralton Cave to get that dusk stone.

When I get to Opelucid City i’ll catch a Rufflet for you. Right now I have to do the Relic Tower thing. I hope you realize Rufflet won’t obey you for quite a while. I can’t make an egg for him because he is a male only species.
