Okay I was training my Nidoking and so far it has Toxic Spikes, Megahorn, Sludge Bomb, and Earth Power and my Vaporeon has Aqua Ring, Acid Armor, Waterfall, and Ice Beam. Is that a good run? I was contemplating on taking out Waterfall for Muddy Water but idk. Suggestions?
I’m guessing this is competitively seeing anything works outside of that.
Nidoqueen is the better TSpiker, so I wouldn’t focus on having TS a must for Nidoking. Personally I would make the switch over to SR, he’s one of the few that can setup in as an UU lead. Sludge Bomb feels like a waste given Nidoking’s verisitlity. Sure, you get the STAB but the coverage isn’t worth its value. Considering he can Boltbeam, Fire Blast, Superpower, even Sucker Punch are things you maybe wanna take a look at.
For Vaporeon, definitely take out Waterfall. The 65 base in his ATK stat is just laughable when compared to his 110 Sp Atk base.
Wish over Aqua Ring, leftys are pretty much what Aqua Ring does. Go Surfbeam, HP Electric, or hell even Signal Beam for preferred coverage. Muddy Water isn’t really needed on Vapereon, just surf not worrying about the accuracy issues/PP issues.
Gigaiasu looks so awesome but fuck me, such a shit typing and ability, it’s going to get destroyed by tons of pokemon.
That flying squirrel just looks like pachirisu with stupid wings, terrible. Honestly so far I’m not liking these ‘cute’ pokemon, NEEDS MORE BADASS POKEMON.
Aside from that, “aim for the horn” and straight up electrocuting Golems, they should bring back this kind of in the show again. Or make it a new feature in Black/White.
Love this illustration. Too bad the “new Pokes/no Zubats before National Dex” invalidates a lot of it, but the spirit of it is so true. It just doesn’t feel like Pokemon (single player/leveling up/getting caught in the experience before player battles) without the things pictured.
