special attack based, good defensive dragon. Better option for a hail team than abomasnow since he has less weaknesses. not too quick, but will hit hard with 100% accurate Blizzard. Good at taking out other dragons too

Pinsir is actually a pretty good stand alone pokemon so it wouldn’t be too bad if he doesn’t. It’s his movepool that needs to be buffed. I never understood why Pinsir could not learn the strongest bug move in the game, Megahorn. He has two huge freaking horns sticking out of his head =_=
Although Pinsir is my favorite bug. Outclassed by scizors and heracross due to a superior movepool and typing, I actually hope that they do give him an evolution giving him a second type for dual STAB attacks and minimal stat increases(don’t want him overpowered), mainly to attack and/or speed/defense. I would rather have him stay with the same sp. defense so that he does have some weak point.
Naw he needs a new Evo. His stats aren’t bad, but they sure as hell aren’t competitive enough. Giving him a good movepool doesn’t mean much if everything else can overkill, he still needs an edge. He’s been the perfect candidate for an evolution since Ruby/Sapphire and they still haven’t given him shit.
Give Pinsir an evo making him Bug/Ground but with boosted attack, sp.def, and most of all speed and that would be boss!
I do agree with the evolution of pinsir.
And I also do agree with you on the ground/bug evo, it would make sense and it will definitely bump him up the ranks.
After seeing Ledyba and Ledian again in HGSS, I was thinking Heracross evo for some reason. Not that Hera isn’t awesome already (it is), but I thought something Kamen Rider-ish would be great.
Or maybe I just want something like Ledian that doesn’t suck. :lol:
Another comic I found. I normally don’t like MS Paint ones, but I lol’d so hard at this. We’ve all been there. 
With 125 atk base (matching that of a gyarados), pinsir doesn’t need any help there. Realistically, speed and sp. def are his most welcomes. The typing idea would also be decent, I think he would love ground more than any other typing (S/R resist, STAB EQ, etc.) I kinda see gamefreak being jerks by going the bug/flying route, god that would suck.
