So glad they gave Road/Whirlwind a use come Gold/Silver. Also, Lance’s Dragonite had a Barrier in R/B. I didn’t recall that move being a TM or learned by Dratini. It did become a rape machine in Yellow, though. (They fixed that + added the uber elemental attacks.)
For kicks, in RBY, I go to Koga first after Misty (after leveling up first). This way I can can all the badges up to Blaine, and Surge is actually my last fight before Gary/Green. :lol:
Started on Fire Red, just fiddling a bit as I play the OG’s at the same time. Feels good man.
Got four badges in Emerald, at around L40’s on my starting 6 now. Not particularly hard, though Flannery randomly beat me once. I swear Overheat randomly KO’d my water types. Tag teams/2-critter fights are amusing. Of Gen 3, I guess the Aron line and Sableye appeal to me the most. The others are okay, but (starters aside) seem too Digimon-ish to me. I guess I’ll wait until I get to the Legendaries.
Man, I need like 6 Heart Scales. More importantly, I want my Zapdos to know Heat Wave at least (Tbolt, Roost, Toxic, HP Ice)
Also, I just did the second E4 run. Huge improvement, still don’t have shit against my LV100 Deoxys-A, but LV for LV it would definitely take some skill. Karen’s LV61 Umbreon survived my Ho-oh’s Sacred Fire, at LV100 :looney:
I hope to improve my Kygore’s moveset. I like the sleep talk set (Rest, Sleep Talk, Water Spout, Ice Beam) but the Calm Mind one is pretty insane (Calm Mind, Thunder, Surf, Ice Beam) might change to that one.
Man those twin Psychics were the hardest I’ve had in Emerald so far. Should’ve raised a Dark other than Sableye. If I didn’t have a Hyper Potion surplus, I wouldn’t have a chance.
Still feel underleveled. I must have missed a ton of swimmers/islanders while Surfing.
I caught a shiny Staravia the other day…was my first shiny ive seen in Diamond and Im like 268 hours or something. I couldnt even tell it was shiny if it wasnt for the little sparkles that first appeared. Eh its better than nothing.
I also just learned about tweaking in D/P so I’m kinda hesitant in trying it out to catch Darkrai and Shaymin as Ive read it messes up your game. =/

Also, accidently broke my pokewalker. Found out that you can buy them from Nintendo over the phone for $22.00 after Tax and shipping. Just call their customer service number 1-800-255-3700. Just throwing that one out there just in case anyone ever needs to know.
When you EV training you only have to get the 510 points once right? Then the rest of the levels will be affected? The reason why I ask is because when I was EV training Special Attack for Gengar the next level up added +9 to it. Then I started on my speed and +12 was added to the next level but Special Attack was only +3.
I was cleaning and I found my old game boy with my blue version where I had all the pokemon with perfect stats and the good ones at 255 with perfect stats and some bugged lower level pokemon with bugged stats but my gameboy doesn’t turn on.
I know some people play it on their computer and can transfer data. Anyone knows how I can recover my data?
