feraligatr does really well with waterfall/ice punch/ earthqauek/dragon dance. Although I think he gets aqua jet now? so swords dance/aqua jet/earthquake/ice punch makes him better than just a more bad gyarados, give him a salac berry and he’s ready to go to town.
Heart Scales in the pokewalker too. The first time it’s not a small chance on a high step count is Stormy Beach, which is a 65000 watt unlock, but if you coordinate your steps well enough, at around the 2000 step mark they are a good 20% chance on Beautiful Beach, a 200 watt unlock.

feraligatr has a higher ATK (than SPA) base so try to focus more on physical type moves, not unless you’re running a nature that boost SPA.

What was the issue with og G/S and C? I recall people not holding Gen 2 in high regard compared to the other games, even R/B/Y.
I don’t recall that. IMO it was the high point of the games.
