You can manipulate the time/delay/frame to generate perfect Pokemon. It doesn’t require any cheating devices (though it speeds up finding your secret ID and checking IVs), so anybody who claims its unethical is just complaining because they can’t do it.
Yeah, I’m trying to catch them bitches now. Freakin’ Entei is Asleep/has 1HP(Thx False Swipe) and STILL won’t be caught. Similar to Raikou who is Paralyzed/1HP and won’t cooperate… I think I’m just going to harvest a few White Apricorns and RTSD with a Fast Ball Blitzkrieg combined with Shadow Tag assist-- Go! Wobbuffet!
Irony of ironies-- Caught Lugia with ONE Heavy Ball on the first try. :rolleyes:

I just brought over a couple Master Balls from Platinum because I didn’t want to have to deal with that nonsense. :lol:
Tonight I’m hoping to battle someone besides Fir. Last year, except one battle with Fuzzy_Snugs and one with Infernoman, ALL of my battles were against Fir. 
I’m hoping to battle more people this year.
Don’t worry Fir, our rivalry still lives on… :nunchuck:
I might join in on this eventually, when I get a team I like, that is.

Yo, I’ll be down to battle pretty soon-- I’m extremely lazy and don’t have access to Pokesav, so team-building takes me forever… I have like one team I use, and thats about it. I’ve got some new ideas cooking thanks to HG/SS moveset changes, so once I get through the game, I’m gonna have some new ish to bust out.
In the meantime, I’ve been hanging out on Smogon’s Shoddy Server more often lately, so if you see me (po pimpus) I’ll definitely be down for some battles.
I think I’m gonna say fuck it and bring over some Master Balls from my Pearl/Platinum games and grab Entei/Raikou the quick and dirty way-- although I like the way the Quick Ball looks… :sad:

I was thinking of running my Rain Dance team but I would much rather be able to have some versatility.

So I think I am just going to use my Squirtle I got from beating the game and have that as my starter.
Dogs are easy to catch imo. Here are a few tips i’ve learned:
In d/p/pt if pokeballs had a x1 catch rate, and ultra balls had a x4 catch rate, Dusk balls have a x8 rate. So its best to try at night. IIRC heavy and love balls also have great catch rates.
Sleeping and frozen are the 2 best status effects and of the status effects actually give you the highest catch rates. Use them.
When the dogs are on a route the chance you will run into them over a random pokemon is high. So I know some people use a lvl40 poke and a repel to always run into them, I personally use a lvl 60 Gallade with mean look/false swipe/hypnosis/filler. Just out speed and mean look. put em to sleep, then just start swiping.
On your pokegear map you can see your roamers. Each time you change route( the town name or route name pops up in corner) the roamer MOVES! You can use this to your advantage by going to an area where a quick step makes the town name/route pop up. So you move onto a route and see the name pop up then check your pokegear map and see if they came to the route you are on. If not take a step back to make the route/town name pop u, and check your map again. Keep doing this till they come to you. IMO this is best done between 2 places that both have grass.
I found and killed all 3 of my roamers in 10 mins lol.
TLDR: Sleep/freeze, mean look, 1HP, duskball, pokegear map.
EDIT: ^ LMAO i just got done EV training my paraflinch togekiss today lol. I always end up sticking a machamp on whatever team I put kiss on. It just loves pokemon slower than it, and with dynamic punch, parafuse most stuff to death. If you dont like the champ, or want more, lucario is a beast. x4 resist rock and resist ice. Kiss can dodge ground attacks for luke, and it takes fire attacks like a champ.

My past experiences with other sites (GameFAQS and Smogon) have been less than stellar. On GameFAQS, the competition has been poor and I had many people cheat on, e.g. using Ubers and/or worse, Wondertomb in an OU, and as for Smogon, too many elitist douchebags. :xeye: I dunno, maybe things have changed but I doubt it.
GFAQS is never gonna get good, smogon is where the action is. The only thing I hate is some people still battle by their own rules (no rotom forms/no SS + Sand Veil/BS BS).
It’s much better than it was though, if you wanna know.
