i’m far from pro, i don’t even know how to identify my team in terms of ubers, over used, and under used
Keep in mind that Kanto leaders are better than the Johto ones. Depending on movesets and nature combinations you can sweep other trainers off the map ingame. My Deoxys-A beat all the Kanto Leaders, E4, and Red single handed. Then again, it’s Deoxys-A lol.
I used my Master Ball on Mewtwo, only because I didn’t have one and wanted to train it competitively. The rest of the legendaries I’ve pretty much caught already or transferred over.
Each pokemon has a tier it’s in. If you are using something say lugia then you are using an uber pokemon, if you are using something say metagross you are using an OU pokemon. Houndoom for UU, and etc.
Ubers are considered the best pokemon around, OU means pokemon that are used frequently but cannot dominate a game than say an Uber can. And so forth.
My Party was:
Level 15 Machop
Level 27 Staravia
Level 26 Graveler
Leverl 15 Buizel
Level 9 Bidoof
Level 28 Piplup
Raziel321 and I did a Level 100 Battle.

Interesting, I knew there was always a large metagame to pokemon but I didn’t actually know there were actually tiers per say. :lol:

Smogon has the complete listings. Keep in mind that after thorough testing via shoddy/wifi battling/etc. no tier stays the same. For the most part some do, but not all of them. (Example: At one time Cressy was OU, then she fell to UU, now she’s BL

rather than pokesave I lead with a ralts with syncrhonize and go to diamond/pearl area where you can chain the dittos and just grab a ton of them in a row, check their IV’s and throw out the ones that dont’ have useful 30/31;s. it takes a while but it’s completely mindless so I do it sometimes when watching tv/surfing the net/hanging out with friends. I’ve got a decent roster of ditto’s with at least 1 30/31.
It is competitively viable all things considered, just invest use it offensively.
So I guess im one of the few here that have tried RNG abuse? It takes practice, and its hard to get consistently, but in the end its imo easier/faster/better than breeding. Its just some people consider it unethical, but I rather not have to hatch 4187285189 eggs trying to get a few 31s/30s in the right stats.
I RNG’ed myself a 31/31/31/31/31/31 modest ditto : p

man hunting down Raikou and Entei is such a pain. you can’t reset when you have them cornered because the location randomizes, and it’s so hard just to get one shake with an ultra ball before they pop out.
