i just have to catch my correct nature raikou and latios
then ive pretty much got all the legendaries i can until my friend trades me a kyogre so i can get my rayquaza
then ill just live off breeding, levelling and training until the new game comes out =\

When it comes to catching the right nature legendaries, yall just restart over and over? I tried that with a pokemon egg, it didn’t turn out so good…
No word of a lie, I found out about that event this past Friday. Of course it just happened to be the day after it’s over.
Yep, I just save before the legendary and/or egg and hope for the best.
I must be lucky tonight. A few minutes after getting Pokrus, I ran into Latios in the same patch of grass where I got the Pokrus (Route 7.) Turns out it’s Modest natured. :bgrin:

Every Pokmon in the game has chance of being Shiny right? Even Gift Pokmon?
if you lead with a pokemon with synchronize any wild pokemon(including STATIONARY legendaries) you run into has a higher chance to share nature with the synchronizer. I bred a bunch of ralts for this.

If you want, I can clone a Salamence with Outrage. I’ve been going through the boring task of cloning and then trading over all my pokemon from Platinum to Soul Silver. I can only bring over 6 boxes of pokemon atm since that’s all I’ve caught in Soul Silver.
I’m not sure if Pokemon in in-game trades can be shiny. :xeye:

That’s one thing I miss about Gen 3. My STUD. Now that IVs are mixed instead of static to the female (or Ditto), my specially caught STUD that had all IVs in the high 20s to 30s is considerably less useful. I still have to make sure the poke I breed with has a good IV in one of the two key stats instead of going “lol, breed with the Ditto of perfection” and never having to think about it.
to me, IV breeding is too tedious
takes long enough to get the right ability + nature…
Exactly why I liked Gen 3 more in that respect. X Pokemon + high IV Ditto = high IV X Pokemon egg. My STUD churned out so many nice pokes…
and now we suffer… oh well
at least i know my friends dont have that much more time than me so they wont be IV breeding either
