Garchomp can run Draco Meteor, or at least he could when he was still OU. The set was called Chain Chomp or something like that.

chomp is really hard to fit on uber teams…which is sad because he could fit well in OU teams imo. if anything mence should have went before he did but what can ya do…what was his deciding factor in being moved to ubers anyway? his speed and typing?

ok guys, i was outside goldenrod city, and right where the sudowoodo is blocking the path, there is a nearby patch of grass, and i went into it with my bike randomly just to see what kind of pokemon was there.
all of a sudden this unusually dramatic music played when i encountered a pokemon, and then freaking Entei was the pokemon i was battling.
my jaw damn near hit the floor, he was lvl 40. i hit him once for low damage, then he fled.
is this common to randomly happen upon a battle with a legendary pokemon so early? i wanted to catch him so bad
also i have another question. i’ve been training a machop since 15, it’s a 33 machoke right now and i want it to become a machamp eventually. is there anyway to evolve it without trading it and saying goodbye?
this is so gay that i have to trade a pokemon for it to evolve… what’s the point of that?

The names are self explanatory. Ubers are banned from OU. OU are banned from UU etc. Your list is a list of Ubers mostly. You can use them against eachother.
So I went out and bought SoulSilver after 10 years of not playing a single pokemon game. Seems to be pretty fun. Pokewalker things is an interesting new thing.
Yeah, Raikou and Entei are random encounters once you see them flee from the burned tower. You can look at the map on the pokegear to see what route they’re currently on in which said random encounter will occur.
Trade with someone to trade back, really. The idea is to play with others, just like how each game has its own exclusive pokes.
Dunno if the D/P glitch still exists in HG/SS (doubt it), but I do know that if you offered a trade-evo poke on the GTS then immediately took it back, it’d think of it as “traded” and evolve.
Both. Resisting S/R and Sand Veil played its part but in reality the OU metagame was completely dominated by Garchomp at the time, there was no getting around of “not” having a counter for it. You just had too, because every team had one and the chances that you would lose a few pokemon to it were extremely high. Looking at the Uber metagame, I agree that it is hard for Garchomp to gain a slot. There’s A LOT of dragons to choose from in Uber, and I’m pretty sure people aren’t thinking about Garchomp over say Palkia or even Rayquaza. SS isn’t common in Uber, so Garchomp cannot take advantage of Sand Veil when you have Kygore and Groundon casting infinite weather every switch-in.
Legendary beast as in Suicune or Entei? No, they are not Uber and ok to use (note that Cune cannot be used soley UU play, for he is OU). You left out some uber pokemon in Shaymin-S and Wynaut, but that’s pretty much the cream of the crop.
Yes, there will be times where you have to fight runaway(fleeing) legendaries. They’re annoying to get because they flee upon turn (meaning they just go when it’s their turn to move), there’s usually something you can track them down with but I don’t think you get that until later. It’s common I guess, all you did was reach a certain point in the game where they all fled and now you can catch them all.
There’s no other way to get Machamp, well you hack but what’s the fun of it in-game. You either have to trade on other DS or find somebody willing to help you evolve it by trade-back. Trading it is the only way it’ll evolve.

They are semi common, but in my opinion it all depends on what you feel when you catch it.
For example I was trying to catch a Kyogre (which is the Mewtwo of Sapphire, so everyone has one) but I ran out of Ultra Balls. So I was just throwing regular pokeballs at it and eventually caught it in a regular pokeball. was so fun.
