Slowpoke gets a recovery type move and Slowking gets a sp. attack raiser move. So whichever you want.

Obviously you’ll want to evolve your slowpoke, slowbro has better defense and slowking has better special defense. Slowking learns nasty plot over slowbro though.
I think you can pickup a kings rock at the poke dome or somewhere around route 227 water surface.

So I picked up Soul Silver. And I’m six hours in the game and I have six badges.
I traded one of my many Porygon-Z’s over from Diamond, so ingame is a breeze.
Man I’m 0-9 on when battling on Smogon, I haven’t won there in a month! AND I’m on a 9 game losing streak, it’s tough. Fuck…
Anyway, FINALLY I got a Adamant bread Lavitar 
so Imma transfer him to HG. I already did my Jolly bread Heracross, so I’m pretty much ready to start my journey owning stuff :lol:
Ehh, I chose Hera and Lavitar because they were considered the some of the best rares in G2.
bleh, finally hit a wall with how low my run is going. Pryce just plain owns my team right now. Gonna probably train up my Starmie to finish.
With Magnemite, Dragonair, Bayleef, Steelix, and Growlithe in the level ranges of 25-31… I just can’t do the damage to own him, plain and simple, and the problem I’m finding is xp everywhere I go to try and bump up Mag/Growl is going so damn slow…
I finally beat Whitney’s ass and I’m on my way to Ecruteak city. I’m thinking about grabbing an evee from my Diamond and transfering it over to SS so I can get myself an umbreon.

almost finished transferring my pokemon from platinum over to HG…who wants to jam? tonight or tomorrow.
I just beat Pryce with nothing but a Gastly using Shadow Ball, and he was half the level of all of his pokemon, it was crazy man.
I want to evolve my haunter, and I’d like to get my hands on a thunderstone and TM24 (Thunderbolt). Can anyone help me out?
Voltorb Flip isn’t as bad as I thought it was. I got to level 5 and then kept losing, so I dropped to lower levels, but I managed to accrue ~750 coins.
I can help with evolving your Haunter, Kooper. I’m not sure about the rest.

The bad thing about Voltorb Flip: Earnings is SLOW even if you get good at the game.
Not even an option to buy coins like all the gambling methods. If there were, I’d just farm the pokethalon for money right now. I want my Ice Beam on my Starmie. 
Pokethalon’s something I may actually spend some time on, compared to the contest shit in the last two games. Win or lose you get points that can translate to roughly a 1 point to 10 bucks ratio when you just buy nuggets like mad, and they have other nice shit there as well, such as Heart Scales, evo stones (though you gotta have the national dex for the fire/water/thunder stones…) and most importantly, PP Ups and Rare Candies. This right there is a good reason to farm that shit. For 2000 points a pop, I run the stamina course 6-7 times and I got myself a rare candy. Might not be that big of a deal at this moment, but when I start the L80-100 grind, it’s gonna be a godsend.
