why not just train eggs on d/p and then trade them to hgss?
Apparently it’s for D/P as well, trading off any G4 ver. to HGSS does not guarentee perfect nature/IVs seems like.

Would anyone happen to have the shiny pichu from the gs event to trade, i have not missed any of the recent ones besides that can trade the jirachi or arceus which were the last gs and toysrus events given. Leme know.

it takes like 3-4 hours to get 4 badges, which allows up to lvl 50 obediency
and if you ev trained, the pokes should be at level 40-50

I like how the AI doesn’t seem so retarded in hg/ss. The gym leaders are a little tougher at least.
Also, I got lucky and found a shiny rattata by the day care. :o It’s funny since i’m always hoping to get that random shiny during the story and when it finally happens it’s a damn rat.
That can’t be true. I traded over Tyrouge and Carvanha eggs from my diamond and both came out with adamant/31 attack IVs like they should.
I dunno man.
Sometimes, the AI will do a combination of an attack that takes more than 50% from me, and then do something stupid like Leer the next turn.
Or in the chance of my lv 6 Togepi vs Morty’s lvl 25 Gengar, using Sucker Punch while I’m asleep, when it could wait for me to get up and for me to try and use Extrasensory so it could use it and kill it. (note: since its moveset was Hyponsis/something/Shadow Ball/Sucker Punch, it could not hurt me unless I used Extrasensory with Togepi, and I was free to attack it after it used all 5 of Sucker Punch. I beat it and it leveled up 5 levels. And then Haunter came.

Have 7 badges about 12 hours in. So good. The game is pretty fun so far and brings back a lot of nostalgia. Trying to bum rush the story to get to end game.
I think i’m going to pick this game up, after not having played Pokemon since the yellow version.
I have a lot of free time at my new job, and i need something to do.
Is there any crucial information i need to know or can i just ‘jump in’ to the game?

I’ve been wondering how to do that. I’m a complete noob at ev training. How do you know it’s gonna come out with the right nature and IV etc?
you don’t know until it hatches. you just keep breeding until you get the right nature and iv’s that’s acceptable to you, haha. very time consuming process.

So how do you guys deal with the tms? Cause I’m trying to make a certain garchomp and I don’t believe I have the TM to give him that move.
Breeding to get various new moves is fun. Breeding for IVs and, sometimes, abilities (I’m looking at you, Togepi…), is not.
